In all fairness there are some legitimate, ethical concerns with abortion. However, pro-life policy has no place in the real world. The only thing that would happen if you outlawed abortions and destroyed planned parenthood is more abortions would take place, and they'd happen in back alleys instead of sterile operating rooms. Bottom line, if you have a problem with abortion, don't get one and don't try to make your personal gripes law.
@007kingifrit6 жыл бұрын
nobody wants to compeltely outlaw abortions, but the current levels are not adequate protection for healthy babies
@tsarfox34626 жыл бұрын
@001kingfrit: You're just wrong. The Republican party wants to overturn Roe v. Wade and their policies reflect that. Besides, healthy fetuses aren't the ones who need protection; women are the ones who need protection. The GOP wants to take away the right to an unconditional, first trimester abortion which will only result in back alley abortions. You know what the end result of that is? More women and babies dead.

Barnabas Born Neither of those 3 nations have practiced what they preached because in all of them tradition still vastly outweighs law or day to day behaviour, and tradition still considers women as lesser beings in deeply religious cultures. Don't fool yourself into thinking religion doesn't matter to the Soviets or South Americans in general, despite their politics. Real proof is that empowering women works is, as usual, in Northern European countries, where it's still not perfect but miles away better than anyone else. If we could only get India to keep up the world *would* change radically.

ArcaJ 5? Try all 7. He didn't just commit them, he is the embodiment of them. Wrath: he hates Obama because the man made fun of him and now wants to destroy his legacy. He attacks anyone who makes fun of him no matter how minuscule. Greed: the man talks about how rich he is and will happily steal from sick kids to make money. Lust: he has been married to 3 different women and cheated on absolutely all of them. In fact he cheated on wife 1 with wife 2 and wife 2 with wife 3. Ego (my variation of pride): "why should I ask for forgiveness when I'm not making mistakes" or "I could stand in the middle of 5th avenue and shoot somebody and not lose supporters" Gluttony: have you looked at the guy? Sloth: the man is afraid of stairs, the only "sport" he plays is golf. Envy: he knows Obama was a better president then him and he absolutely hates it!

I'm guessing most of the people effected are too far south to be able to make the trip & probably don't even have a passport or the money to get it, but I am curious if Canada can & will do anything to help them if they can get there. Mexico could be an even mroe interesting question, since it's closer to those mostly effected

first of all they were not any "illegal immigrants" in the USA before 1945, before 1945 you just came here and lived, second of all no politicians a not celebrities, they're people who do a job, Trump or Carmen Salinas or Jimmy Morales going into politics is wrong because they are people with no expertists in government or politics and we should expect experts not dumb people with lots of money to become politicians.

I'm against the government banning abortion or guns...we need to follow the Constitution all the way in order to protect all of our rights. Doesn't matter what you believe personally, as long as it doesn't interfere with your help in defense of our individual rights. Do you trust the government from one year to the next? And do you want to put these same people in charge of everyone's personal reproductive and self-defense rights? I don't personally support abortion but since it's constitutional, I vote in support of protecting rights. And on guns, personally I think guns are guns and if you give the government and inch they'll ban them all...and we know what'll happen then (illegal market/gangs/death). I think legislation hasn't done much to stop crime, and since the Trump family can have armed guards protecting them at all times then so can our children have that level of protection at school. I'm sure there are experienced and retired vets we could hire at schools who'd be happy to protect our children.
