I have a hunch that this was planned as a Sukeban Deka game and then the concepts were added into Goonies when the license fell through. The yo-yo attack, adventure scenes and mermaid rescue plot all make more sense with that franchise. I also think the first Goonies game was intended to be a follow-up to the martial arts games Konami had been making. Although it works for the game it's very out of character for Mikey to just karate kick the Fratellis when they're in the way.

Huh, I thought the mermaid in the ending was an obvious censor edit, but it actually looks the same in the Japanese version.

You know what they should make an official film sequel I mean back then in the 80’s after director Richard Donner left and producer Steven Spielberg left when The Goonies (1985) was a successful film 🎞 but It needs a sequel for the best film of all time like they will add New filmmakers like Gene Roddenberry (who was a Produced Star Trek The Motion Picture) Italian Film Producer Dino De Laurentiis (who was a Producer of King Kong 1976 Version and Conan The Barbarian 1982 Version) a Canadian/American film producer like Ivan Reitman (who was the Director of Ghostbusters 1984 version) and Director Don Coscarelli (the guy who directed Phantasm & The Beastmaster) so that way they will take over to make a sequel out of the most popular film 🎞 so that way they will call’ed it The Goonies 2 In search Of The Primeval Island 🏝 (1987) so they can bring back the same actors like Sean Astin as Mikey Josh Brolin as Brand Corey Feldman as Mouth Jonathan Ke Quan as Data Jeff Cohen as Chunk Kerri green as Andy Martha Plimpton as Stef and two new members of The Goonies name Molly Ringward as Malinda (Mikey’s girlfriend that she move to Mikey’s Neighborhood) and Leo O’Brien as Joey (Mouth’s buddy from one of his next door neighbors) but they will bring back John matuszak as Sloth (that he always said HEY YOU GUYS!!) even they will add New Bad guys known as the Monder day Pirates 🏴‍☠️ gang the terrorist group like Christopher Walken as Gary (The leader of the Pirate 🏴‍☠️ Gang that he’s obsessed too look 👀 for gold and diamonds on Primeval island) even Nicholas Worth Brion James Randy Savage/Macho Man Vernon Wells Carter Wong & Al Pacino as The Bad Guy’s Henchmen and Adrienne Barbeau as Lisa the hunch lady (that she’s always wanted Diamonds 💎 Of her own) & even they will add Stop motion animation Dinosaurs 🦖🦕 like Tyrannosaurus Rex 🦖 Triceratops Brontosaurus 🦕 Stegosaurus Pteranodon Dimetrodon Kaprosuchus 🐊 Woolly Mammoth 🦣 Giant Gourd Sloth 🦥 & The Gigantopithecus (a.k.a The Giant Ape 🦧 ) but The Dinosaurs 🦖 🦕Gigantopithecus (Giant Orangutan Ape 🦧) are going to be stop motion animated by Jim Danforth & The Chiodo brothers even Creature Animatronic by Carlo Rambaldi Special Visual Effects by Ernest Farino Sloth Make up artist by Thomas R. I always thought the character you play was Mike cooler brother and not Mike himself (I didn't really know English back then, so I played my NES game without knowing English until I was like 12 or so when I learned simple English back in the early 90's)

子供ながらにグラフィックは1の方が上、完成度も1の方が上と感じてましたけど、ファミコンでここまでのストーリー性持たせ様としたら淡白になってしまうよね

ワイワイワールドが携帯アプリに移植された際は既にグーニーズとキングコングに関する版権は失われており、マイキー＆キングコングはコナミキャラであるウパ＆ペン太郎に差し替えられた(ステージのデザインやBGMも差し替えたゲームのものになっている)。

前作の様にアクションゲームだけで良いのに、変に謎解き要素を加えたのがなぁ。前作は背景とかに色は付いていなかったけど、却ってシンプルで良かったと思う。

Que juego de mierda. Prefiero la versión de family game Encima de todo ademas de muy tedioso es que al final rescata una sirena en tetas y sin pezones. Que bárbaro! Yo solo vi the goonies no se si hay o había una 2.pero no creo que sea así como el juego. Buen video!
