James Kennedy preached this sermon in 1985. He had been voted one of the 200 smartest people in the world by Time magazine. It is an excellent talk, of a most insightful nature, covering a subject Christians seem to know little about and one the devil has corrupted.

The Bible is FULL of astrological references, and we know that astrology was a Babylonian creation more than 6,000 years old. It shocks me that anyone still thinks that the part of the Bible that refers to astrology by name is an ancient passage. It is NOT an ancient passage; rather it's like an "insert" shoved in there by one of the Church Fathers who canonized the Bible in the Council of Nicea in about 325AD. In fact, if you know how to read the system of astrology, almost every book in the Bible has references to the Zodiac story. But as you all know, Christians couldn't claim that Christ is the only true God if all of it's adherents knew and understood astrology and how absolutely spot on it is about explaining everything about a person's life. Even the three wise men used astrology to find Jesus. So don't give me that nonsense about the Bible condemning astrology. It's a load of BS.

So have those become to you with whom you have labored, Who have trafficked with you from your youth; Each has wandered in his own way; There is none to save you.” ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭47‬:‭8‬-‭15‬ That is a clear condemnation of astrology which we see is clearly tied to witchcraft, sorcery, and perversion. To your other point, no serious historian would dare to assert that the book of Isaiah, written around 700 BC, was “inserted” at the council of Nicea. That nonsense would be laughed out of any room because not only does Septuagint make a mockery of it, but so do the dead sea scrolls. Get right with Christ and cast aside your foolish astrological gibberish and worship the one true God who painted the message of salvation above your head for you to see every single night.
