From the series on the Biblical meaning behind the constellations of the Zodiac. This talk was delivered as part of a 13 sermon series, including one for each constellation. D. James Kennedy preached this sermon in 1985. He had been voted one of the 200 smartest people in the world by Time magazine. It is an excellent talk, of a most insightful nature, covering a subject Christians seem to know little about and one the devil has corrupted.

Dr. Kennedy was such a brilliant scholar with such a vast array of knowledge who always gave the glory to the Father and His Son, Jesus Christ! Oh that we had such men in the pulpits across America today! Looking forward to meeting James in heaven!

The Zodiac contains valid symbolism, and the planets contain valid information about what goes in inside of our minds. The Bible wouldn't be filled with astrological references if this was not the case. The symbolism itself is far older than the languages used to write the Word of God, which is why the book could never have been written without that symbolism.

Astronomy is different and a constant reminder, found in the Bible, that God is the Creator and Christ “upholds all things by the word of His power.”
