It does not ‘line up perfectly’….where was the account of the earthquake so intense that it split the rocks, or the words of Jesus when he said “Eli, Eli, lema sabachthani?”. As both Jew and gentile have sinned, both also had a hand in carrying out the sacrifice.

I think these are beautiful and I was struck with great emotion when I heard that Jesus took Adam’s hand! Then the praise of Adam to our Lord! I realize this is not in Canon Scripture but the truths I hear never went against the scripture I have been taught all my life! Also Pilates letter was very emotional to me! This particular video (and there are others floating around on the internet) are from the infamous Archko Volume of which I have a copy. The Archko Volume or Archko Library is bogus. It is a 19th-century volume containing what purports to be a series of reports from Jewish and pagan sources contemporary with Jesus that relate to the biblical texts describing his life. The work went through a number of versions and has remained in print ever since. The texts are otherwise unknown, and the author was convicted by an ecclesiastical court of falsehood and plagiarism. And he even confessed on the witness stand to his lies. The Archko Volume is regarded as fraudulent by all religious scholars. The medievalist scholar M.R. James described the work as a "ridiculous and disgusting American book." But care to look at the blog comments, proving how many foolish Christians can be sucked into a fake document like this. Such people are bored by the Jesus of the Bible. They just gotta have their golden calf. They just cannot stay faithful to the Holy Bible. Such people are easily deceived. When confronted by such fools, I must ask them, "how many cattle do you have?" LOL. Sola scriptura.

Jaw dropping testimony all the way through! All those questions I've heard asked of the pulpit with the answer given: We don't know. Why don't we know? Here is this gospel with the answers! G-d bless you, Christopher Glyn for lending your gifted voice to these readings. I was raised with the warning that the Bible is the only book we need. And although that is true to an extent; in these material times, more persuasion from the Lord is convienient. The church fathers knew these things, had these books, as best as we can determine their authenticity. To be taught now that we shouldn't look into them, to me seems a hobble on our faith. I never heard of "oil from the tree of mercy". I feel it would have helped me to understand that and everything else in this gospel, just makes the New Testament so much clearer. There are so many sermons I've heard with extant information that wasn't exactly in the bible, that left me scratching my head in years past. I had begun in my middle years to think that pastors might either be taught things handed down or had some creative license to fill in the gaps. I'm glad I had leaned toward the former and not the later or I can see the possibility of falling away. Speaking of falling away; in these times of churches falling into apostasy, it's more important now for the Christian to become educated, seeking the wisdom known by the church fathers and the apostles, that we may evade many snares. And praise the Lord that the metrics of YT have loosened up to suggest so many materials like these on my feed recently. I'm finding teachings that have been ongoing for over a decade that, in spite of my spiritual habits on here, never crossed my desk so-to-speak, but hallelueia, I'm finding them now.
