I really feel Sal whenever he talks about how he just wants a Batman story where Batman talks to Gordon about an issue, and go on an adventure with Robin. Batman books have been so bad since Snyder left, damn near reaching Amazing Spider-Man levels

@@johnthai6188 I’ve actually heard great things about Ram V’s Tec so far! I just haven’t been following up on it because the pacing is kinda too slow and methodical for my liking - which isn’t inherently bad, I’d rather that a story be told slowly and methodically rather than see it become so rushed that it stumbles over itself and crashes. I just don’t have the patience to wait and see where it goes, unfortunately. It’s me, I’m the problem, lol. I’ll probably just wait until it’s all in trade so I can binge-read it. But, again, I have nothing against the story itself, and I give my full kudos to Ram V - I’m a huge fan of his work, and I hope he continues to put his all into that series, because he clearly is having a lot of fun writing it.

Batman comics be stagnating so bad not even Chip Zdarsky can make them appealing to my eyes, meanwhile the latest Action Comics special just casually dropped “BLOODWYND: THE SUPERMAN OF HELL,” an idea which goes so unfathomably hard that any future timeline in which Dan Watters doesn’t get an Eisner for it will result in me facing God and walking backwards into Hell

Yeah, I love Mark Waid too. Birthright was my personal Supes' origin. His run with Wally West was awesome. Also his run with Captain America made me a fan of Cap. And of course, Kingdom Come, I just cant praise it enough...

Great episode per usual. Last week I removed Batman and Detective Comics from my pull list. Sad day. Never thought it would come down to this. I had hope for Chips run. Then the multiverse arc happened. Ram V's ever plodding Detective arc didn't do it for me. With the nonsense of Gotham War's premise, I made a decision. But there are books out there I like, Mark Waid's stuff. Mark Millar. Incredible Hulks is entertaining me. I have my books I am still into. At the moment, unless its World's Finest, no Batman. Thanks DC

@@matt15 I’m fine with taking a break from the Batman books, honestly. (Ram V’s Tec, I’ve head, is actually really good, but I just don’t have the patience to keep up with the pacing it’s doing - I think I’ll just wait until it’s in trade to catch up on it.) Between the new Flash book, Hawkgirl, Shazam, and damn near half the current Superman comic line, there’s more than enough current stuff at DC to keep me hooked.

I don't hate it, but as my jump back into monthly comics after a few year hiatus, it's a bit disappointing. I'm hoping the event and Zdarsky's influence gives it a jolt, or saving that, that Howard is going to move on soon.

something that's annoying me about the Gotham war story line in particular is it show's Pyg is affected by it. He doesn't hire goons tho right? He just has his lobotomized dollotrons.

Ultimate invasion is in such a weird spot. I like some of the ideas, but like sal said, who cares, i really dont care for the politics i just want to see what they can do with a new ultimate universe.

Apart from the odd xmen book im going to stop buying comics for a bit. I havent been enjoying whats been coming out. I loved spiderman and batman when i was younger, but im not enjoying them at the min.
