Literally all of this is happening because Batman refused to let his paranoia rest. Even in Death Metal, he didn't accept the Justice League's help and tricked them into running circles around the world, which opened the portal to the Dark Multiverse. And now, he creates an unstoppable robot which, after beating him up and taking over Gotham, proceeds to side with Waller in hunting down the heroes. I hope the League has Batman take accountability for his actions after all of this.

Superman attracts Darkseid’s attention, invades Earth. Batman develops Brother Eye and the OMACs, contributes to two Crises. Oh look, his failsafe is possessed by a psychotic version of himself, whose been there all the time, touching off some type of brainiacs event Not content with taking a back seat, Batman opened up a previously unknown negative multiverse, because he was bred to be the key to opening the portal for Barbatos, an evil cosmic being. Earth sank into the dark universe before being destroyed ish and completely restored. Darkseid invades shortly after. Before super heroes, how many Crises were there? How many times did conquering Evil Gods invade? I’m surprised the Guardians and the New Gods didn’t do something

It's an interesting story arc, that said I'm not sure how I feel about the story from the general public's POV but it's not unbelievable. On the one hand we have superheroes causing massive property damage, illegally requiring personal information, and they do basically throw their weight around with minimal punishment for their actions. Afterall a normal person can't really stop Superman if he was to kill a civilian, these people are angels but what happens if they decide to abuse that power? We've seen multiple story arcs where the justice league has fought internally and it's ended up tearing apart cities and homes. Not to mention their questionable morals, Batman's willing to cripple random goons and grunts but won't find more indefinite solutions for the Joker, Professor Pyg, or Scarecrow. On the other hand the amount of times the Justice League or miscellaneous heroes save the day is so unquantifiable that it's insane to think that the public would actually turn their backs on their heroes. If not even for the goodwill they've built up, then what about world ending threats like Darkseid, Braniac or Doomsday? If anything I'd imagine that the public would be so fed up with villains ruining their lives that they'd take the justice system into their own hands so Amanda Waller is kind of dumb for this as the system should be handling the villains rather than the people actually trying to save the Earth. I am curious as to how they can strip the powers of Kryptonians and Martians though, afterall those abilities are biological or Wonder Woman or Shazam who's abilities are more mythical in origin.

I know there has to be plots. But somehow i hate everytime i see the flash or Superman getting shot. In the speed they opperate/think and react, there should be noway they could be hit. And lets say that superman was'nt ready for the bullet to be able to penetrate his skin, well even in the split second it takes the bulet to get ½ a centimeter into his body, he should have plenty of time to finish a library full of books, play a few thousand Chessgames and make love to Lois and then figure out that this is a special bullet, and then just move a meter to the side, og even plug the bullet out with a tweezers.... But like I said, I know there has to be a plot

It looks interesting, and I'm not normally a DC follower. The bit that jars to me is that all of this has been put in place so the trap could spring simultaneously on all the heroes, but there's been no leaks on such a large and complex plan? It'll be interesting to see this play out.

A similar idea was done in the The Batman animated tv series season 5 with the power stealing joining robots but this is so much worse
