nick was actually onto something with people dying when close to figuring things out and same thing happened to rosalind franklin, she was a female chemist who discovered the shape of DNA with a really high quality photo meanwhile watson and crick after bugging her to show them the photo because they were trying to find the shape too, asked her professor and since she was a women her work wasn't respected like her professor deadass thought she was his assitant but anways she did all the correct scientific work to properly justify how she knew it was that shape and published her paper the SAME DAY watson and crick did after seeing her photo without her permission (they published a day later with very vague info in their report) the famous photo is photo 51 AND they put watson and cricks before hers therefore it made it look like she based it off of their research meanwhile she really had it first and they were filthy little theives (this is of course the watered down version because I had slides on slideshows and notes on notes about the WHOLE story) its actually insane and so watson and crick got the noble prize for "discovering it" meanwhile rosalind died few years later due to ovarian cancer bc of the radiation she had to work with to get that photo AND DIED WITHOUT KNOWING THAT THEY SAW HER PHOTO because i their paper they used some bs very unclear photo bc obviously they couldn't use hers (its actually a crazy story and happy to go more in depth if anyone cares to read all this, and just think, this is the watered down version)
