Glad you enjoyed it. Book 2 was a huge step up for me since it's closer in to the characters. I just finished book 3. I didnt quite like it as much as book 2, but apparently books 3 & 4 are really just part 1 & 2 of the conclusion. I'm hoping to get to book 4 next month.

Yes! I've noticed book 2 feels more specific character oriented which is nice. That's disappointing book 3 wasn't as enjoyable, I'll be curious to see how you like the series when you're done! I'll probably be a while haha

@@nicolesbookcorner I wouldn't say it was a disappointment, my enjoyment just wasn't quite as even as with book 2. It's a long bookz so it might just be the fact that my enjoyment flags when I'm reading a book for almost a whole month. Haha

@@tgibridays I totally get that 😂 I am glad to know that it's still good, that helps my motivation 😂

So glad you liked it overall! The Wall of Storms is one of the best sequels I’ve ever read in my life, so hopefully it works well for you too :)

Thank you! Wall of Storms was amazing but that ending.... amazing but terrible at the same time. I am currently 1/4th the way through Speaking Bones and this series is a new obsession haha

Yep, solid review. Similar to my opinion. You should read Malazan Book of the Fallen. You will enjoy it.

Mortality’s our adversarial, but what eternity is in thy heart? whose valves concede a path for fairytales, and leaves thy loved-ones grieved when it departs. Our planet swings its feet before the stars the way we did so on a Nile pier. Though vanishing our feet were born to march, instead we swung our feet within the air. Why don’t you call that heart a miracle? and spend this fleeting time forever free. The 9 to 5 our adversarial! and then the reaper’s scythe will never speed. We have eternity for now. Why work? The Nile never taxed the graceful stork
