I think the rider needs to start getting this horse into the race on the backside. Very few true closers, even they need a hell of a jock

@@bigr6298 he has no early or tactical speed . the jockey can't magically put speed into a horse who has NONE,hustle him early?he has nothing left in the stretch,,,he is always gonna be at tbe mercy of the pace and traffic,against lesser he can get up but even then its by a close margin

Maybe he needs better training or just more time to mature. I'm not saying he will ever be grade 1, but I think he is better than grade 3. And more distance, a mile and a eighth isn't really a distance race. He showed a lot of guts here.

Can someone explain why ANYONE would even consider putting the 8. Pearls Earl in a race like this? Honestly, this horse has 7 races and finished in front of a grand total of 10 horses. I dont get it.

I love Tumbarumba as a horse. Guts it out when it seems he has no chance. Really wish the he won

Nine horse definitely ducked out off the turn. Hit Show took the scenic route all the way around, never had a chance.
