This made me cry! THANK YOU to The 6888 Battalion, the Grambling State University Marching Band and any & everyone else involved. I'm 70 yrs old, born in Shreveport, and when I was a little girl my grandparents home was on the edge of (then) Grambling College and they had a boarding house for Athletes. Learning about "The 6888 Battalion" & everything about the homage from the Grambling U Marching Band brings back memorie, humbles me and makes me incredibly proud!

As a Louisiana Native, growing up watching the band during the DANG THANG was always the highlight in our home. One of my uncle and cousin played in the band. I have noticed the members now have LAZY LEGS, my opinion.
