Dang, that formation into 6888 was fire...I think how many other stories are hidden figures; with all we have done for this nation, they still spend every day looking for ways to diminish our contributions. One day, we gonna tell them to get it done your dam selves, and they will be sorry they didn't appreciate what they had. We are all trailblazers, having lived through the most depraved, indifferent society that ever on the planet.

Well done 👏 cant stop crying after this movie.

Yeah, me too. Just thinking about all they endured and having their efforts be hidden from history was as foul as it was demonic.

This made me cry! THANK YOU to The 6888 Battalion, the Grambling State University Marching Band and any & everyone else involved. I'm 70 yrs old, born in Shreveport, and when I was a little girl my grandparents home was on the edge of (then) Grambling College and they had a boarding house for Athletes. Learning about "The 6888 Battalion" & everything about the homage from the Grambling U Marching Band brings back memorie, humbles me and makes me incredibly proud!

A tribute well done with honor and integrity. I am graduate of Grambling College class of 1972. We have always been proud of our marching band and the Tiger football teams. To God be the glory for the accomplishments of black colleges.

As a Louisiana Native, growing up watching the band during the DANG THANG was always the highlight in our home. One of my uncle and cousin played in the band. I have noticed the members now have LAZY LEGS, my opinion.
