being a festival fanatic, i can actually feel the vibes of lumad basakanon and dinagyang. thatbwas my first impression. pinaghalo nila dinagyang and basakanon.. the moves were familiar. even the looks. the wings were of lumad basakanons style during sinulog years ago. and tama yung isnag nag comment dito, even the change of skirt ala dinagyang.. no wonder they won because they were inspired by two of the best performers sa mga festivals.. hopefully next time makita naman din natin originality para masabi na this is realy our own.. congrats anyway

ang choreographer daw nito ay tga lumad basakanon. kita naman sa galaw at ung concept nila na ibon galing talga sa lumad basak.. kaso ung costume ewan ko lng kung inform ang tribu panayanon ng dinagyang pati ung malalaking banga nila kc ginaya hehehe,,peace..akala ko sumali ang dinagyang sa festival ng leyte eh hehehe

I can't feel the 'pintados-kasadyaan festival' vibes in this performance. I was a fan of various festival in our country. I'm a Leyteño and I can say that this is more like the dinagyang festival of Iloilo.

ito ang festival na walang ORIGINALITY saan kapa lahat ng ginawa hango sa dalawang magkaibang festival watch lumad basakanon in aliwan 2014 and dinagyang tribu pan-ay 2012..paganahin nyo naman ung pagka creativity nyo gumawa kau ng sariling inyo na maipagmalaki,mayakap at maipag sigawan na inyong inyo....pero wag mahiya pwede pang umulet gayahin nio ung festival ng lanao del norte maganda un................still buyogan festival the grandchampion....

Sorry ha pero kasi never heard na may ganyang festival pala ang Burauen, Eagle pala sa inyo?Haha ang alam ko lang kasing gumamit ng Eagle ay ang Tribu Pan-ay ng Dinagyang Festival last 2012 sa aliwan. Ok lang na very 2012 ang performance nyo. Congrats,next time lakihan nyo din ang Eagle hahaha.

Great Performance, but they dont deserve the title... A runner-up maybe. It felt like im watching ILOILO and CEBU and NOT LEYTE. If you are a festival geek, you will notice that most of the whole production are recycled: recycled steps, recycled concept. I can see Dinagyang 2011 "the banga concept", Dinagyang 2013 "the panayanon" for the change of outfit, Lumad Basakanon for their signature circle formation, maybe 2008? and Lumad basakanon 2013...Great Performance indeed, but I'll go for Buyogan, although you deserve all the minor awards :)

we deserve the title.... there were judges during the competition....... ano ka ba naman vesh...... siguro kung wala ngang originality in the criteria for judging it could be because it is obvious that most festivals in Leyte have been influenced by bigger festivals in the country.......... imagine these loud music of all participating contigents, the styles on props (clappers), chroreography, dance movements, if you have witness festival competitions before in our island, you will really think very simple and ordinary...... now, naglevel up because most festivals are hiring choreographers from central visayas.......
