they just released a new generation of spring drive movement with 5 days of power reserve and better accuracy, so the question is actually something that some people might have.

@@davidzed7952 yes they have pushed the boundaries with a 5 day movement but that movement is found in their higher priced models. It by no means makes the 3 day moment obsolete. You’re clutching at straws and overreaching when you say the new movement is more accurate too. Trying to create difference when there is no practical difference in accuracy.

I've got a Snowflake, and I seriously considered the newer evolution 9 series Spring Drive. But as I have other watches in my collection, I couldn't take advantage of the newer accuracy or power reserve anyways. So for me, there was no point. Still love my Snowflake

This case sits low to the wrist thanks to the downward curvature of the case, I have 2 references with the same case and both fit lower than the thickness of the case would indicate. The three day power reserve of the snowflake is longer at 72 hours and more accurate than many new releases from luxury Swiss brands like Rolex, Breitling, AP, Vacheron, etc

@@Mysteryboy0007 besides owning a ❄️, I also own/ owned several high end Swiss watches. But even going to watch online magazines like HODINKEE you can get the info about the accuracy of the spring drive movement and the wearability of the ❄️. My snowflake is +2 seconds a week

Let's be fair here, the snowflake came out in 2005, 17 years ago and the only improvement made was the logo. and since then GS have moved on improving there other model watches (But) for more money, not a fair comparison. If GS spent the time and effort into improving the snowflake with the added price increase then it would be on a level playing field.

I have the gold one, I like how it is rarer than the standard snowflake. Now in 2022 I prefer the Peacock.
