Oh yeah it’s definitely one of the best. It’s hard to say one animatic that’s THE best, simply because you can’t really compare full color animatics to the more sketchy ones like this. The ending has to be my favorite though, I can say that much.

I had to go through and look at every single frame individually, because HOLY SMOKES that's some spicy animation. Doomsday is such a good song for this server too, with the direct reference of lives, as well as the themes of betrayal and backstabbing that's so prevalent on a server like 3rd Life. Beautiful song choice and even more beautiful animation!

Words cannot describe how much I love this. I had never thought of Doomsday but it fits so so well. The contrast of the dark yellow and the bright colors of Ren’s eye looked so unbelievably cool you have no idea. Ren consistently looks really cool throughout though. This one may be me, but some of the faces Scar made looked like a really smug cat, like one that successfully knocked a glass off the table. Anyways, this is a phenomenal animatic that I recommend to anyone I know watches 3rd Life. Have a good day and I can’t wait to see what you craft up next! (Also Joel’s dogs look so cool what the heck they have no right looking that awesome)

Oooh this is really good :D The galactic on Rens face ( 1:21 ) says "Red King" The galactic on Scars shoulder ( 1:29 ) says "Pizza" :( The galactic on the axe ( 2:05 ) is backwards but it says "Red Winter Is Coming" The galctic on the grave ( 4:11 ) is (Top) Scar (Middle) IX memorium (Bottom) Pizza x2 (on both sides) The last bit of galactic that I found ( 4:23 ) says cursed and it's on the beige fencing :)

OMHGOD Your understanding of movement and when the frames change with the music is so good and works so well with the sketchy line work tho colors and the emotions especially come through in the sketchy lines it’s so cool I watched this twice immediately sent it to my friends aaghhh I’m bad at compliment structuring but this just really tears at your heart strings With each death you can tell from the animating the moment they realize they’re dying and it is utterly heartbreaking

god, can i just say that this is genuinely one of my favorite animations i've seen for 3rd life? i had a moment where i just kept looking at all that i could find, and this one just does the storytelling amazingly i don't actually uh, know all the characters, i've only watch grian's, impulse's, and scott's povs of it, and i didn't know all the players to begin with, but everyone has very distinct designs that even in some of the really sketchy parts it's fairly clear who is who, which i absolutely commend you on the way that you've incorporated the environment into the character design for the yellow and red lives is amazing, and such a great idea, honestly it kinda makes me want to draw some of them myself!! and also the whole scene with joel and the fire and the dogs is great, i just love how you use fire and also all the angles of that shot, and all the others is just!! so good! i've rewatched this a lot, and i see myself continuing to do so in the future tbh

Hello! If you check Impulse's Episode 9, 27:05, it is Martyn who kills Impulse at Dogwarts, he's not in the basement at all, and Martyn killed him as he was trying to place down TNT while running away, but he wasn't able to set it off! :0

I’ve been in awe of your drawing skills and your skill in animation. The way you convey emotion with your characters in tune and beat with music is nothing short of magical. What advice would you give a beginner in drawing and in animation? What would you say would be the first step in that learning process?

Thank you!! I’d say for the first step is to just start doing it and make mistakes! That’s what I’ve done and this is where I am now- I haven’t taken any animation classes or anything :p! I work with flipaclip which is a free program- it costs a bit of money to get rid of the watermark (like 3 dollars or something) and it is so worth it!! Using perspective lines for the ground and sky also is super beneficial and helps a lot ^^
