One of the most fun games I have seen. Humans vs humans has a slower Grindy battle place I enjoy while some demonic factions are just too fast

That was incredibly close, what a game! With the change to capping, cav finally have a home other than being shock troops and mass blockers. Grail Guardians might be a hidden gem, tanky cav just squatting on any enemy's home objective, clogging up reinforcements, threatening a back cap

I have a feeling this map is going to be the new bone zone. Really liking the warhammer battle videos. The lack of faction variety in WH3 really killed it for me, but I'm getting steadily more excited for the multiplayer with the return and rework of the old factions.

Domination has become way more fun to watch with all the new factions, maps and gameplay changes. Now we have actual standing armies doing a propper battle while the objective stuff is going on.

Man, both of you played that so well and it was a blast to watch! Those Tzar Guards did the ol' bear in the sky proud by taking everything Bretonnia threw at them and then coming back in the end for seconds. But also, Enticity creating a nail biter ending by coming up from a nearly 3k deficit!

I'm so glad the races from previous games are performing well, even if it's just cliche picks/counter picks. There are enough factions in game that I think we'll see some factions emerge from the haggard shadows every now and then. Dwarf/high elf/norsca/tomb kings/ Cathay could be some really fun counter pick factions

Ursun is watching his knights, eating honey from a jar... straight feasting. I'm very happy how cavalry is becoming more and more valuable in the Domination meta. They are just so much more fun to use and watch compared to the wretched chariot spam of Warhammer 2.

Super close match, GG to both. That gambit at the end haha... A bit bummed Enticity brought the same tried land battle build that Bretonnia had for over a year basically. On this big map, Fey cant be in multiple places at once though, so... her goon squad seemed way less effective. The flying Lords ought to do better here.

I dont think that the bretonnian men at arms should have the expendable trait even clan rats are not categorised as expandable so I dont see why men at arms should be

Because bretonnian lords reeeeeeeeally don't give a....about them. That's their main grimderp. Like even Skaven might not view clanrats as expendable from a strategic standpoint but bretonnian Lords literally don't view commoners as people or worthy of consideration. They are there to die for the glory of ze lady and shovel manure!

I mean, yeah. Lore wise men-at-arms are Bretonnia's regulars, like the State Troopers for the Empire, just slightly malnourished. So, technically they should be just slightly worse then them. And since State troops aren't expendable neither should men-at-arms be. Hell, even the Duke of Parravon, who hates his own peasants for being peasants, did not like to throw his men-at-arms cohorts away for nothing. Mainly bcs of the money he put in them but still.

Expendable just means that units around them that are not expendable do not care if the expendable unit routs. Skaven very much care if other skaven rout - aside from skavenslaves which are below the notice of practically all of them, the lowest of the low. If your clanrats flee in droves, nearby weapon teams might well decide that means it's time to run. Similarly, peasants very much are unnerved at the sight of their fellows routing en masse, but the knights don't care if that happens. They're commoners, it's to be expected! If the men-at-arms had not been expandable, they would slap the knights with morale penalties when routing, so it feels best this way.

Bretonnia needs a buff. At this point they need lore of light and some decent leadership for their peasants. ....also some new units. Seriously it's been five years and they got one lord.

Lore of Ice's Ice sheet and elemental bear frostbite + slow passive means you can basically put any cav to a standstill while providing dakka with streltsi or if you want to double down on the frostbite you can bring Ice guard. If they lost their movement they can just as well be brought down by simple kossars though. Probably not very effective in domination but still fun i think

One thing I wouldn't mind seeing once the Immortal Empires is refined some more would be more gimmick multiplayer games. For example, you could have a "Grand Alliance" team format with the forces of Order against Chaos or Destruction vs Death etc. Either way, I have definitely been enjoying what I have seen so far.

8:30 ish. Value trading should be the meta. If you’re just throwing shit at the fan and hoping for it to stick, that’s not tactical. You should have to win the battle, then care about objectives. Glad to see the meta shifting.

It seems there should be another tier for troop quality such as 'Elite' to add capture weight and perhaps other qualities to the low unit count, expensive units. It annoys me that units like the Chosen and Sisters of Avelorn have no role in multiplayer. When I think of Warhammer battles, men-at-arms and peasant bowmen don't spring to mind. The elite units, the heroes and the monsters are what run wild through my imagination. I guess Campaign is their playground and Multiplayer is the place for sweaty peasants.... a shame.

Bretonnia certainly has an enormous potential but I haven't seen any player capable of utilizing it. I'd say there are very few players on the planet who'd be capable of maximizing Brets potential and they don't even play TWW. Shame it is.

Idk I feel that in a land battle bretonia would utterly destroy kislev. Kislev should be rly suceptible to mass cav cicle charge giving the fact their spears are either way to expensive or way to crappy. And the bears well they are basically like demis 1 v 1 they will do fine but couple of questing knights and they are just done. We will probably get some spears for kislev in a future DLC it really feels weird to have no dedicated anti large infantry on a faction. Great game =)

I mean most of their infantry have the ability to shoot, with the way that LoS for large units in combat works (no obstruction when shooting them) most of their infantry is “anti large”. Only issue is armor but they have decently plentiful powder too

Demons of Chaos would have huge problem against Brettonia. No halberd units is a problem. They also lack chaos spawns and a viable cheap Lord option CA should allow Demons of Chaos in ranked. They are Not broken. Every faction has the tools to deal with them
