I rarely hear a person on the left reason calmly and logically. They yell and then attack the other side with labels. The result of DEI is that when l see a black woman in management (for example), I just assume she didn’t earn it. I feel there’s more racism now than in the 80’s because of the obsession over race (and gender). I have worked with many women and minorities in the military and civilian life who were great. They did NOT need any special treatment!

Isn't one of the unfortunate issues Caitlin Clark apparently being treated in a way due to her skin color by some players of a different skin color, which is in the majority in the WNBA, and who themselves are apparently upset at the way they perceive they are being treated by people of a different skin color? Wouldn't a better approach be to set an example by treating Caitlin in the way that they would like to be treated so that all of them stand a better chance of exceling?

We are a white family I have 2 boys that we put into a private school coming from public school and they had the hardest time there because the schooling was much more advanced than what the public schools were they went for 4 years and got better at it but never really caught up to the kids that were already there you will have a kid that could catch up and Prosper but most will not and these days kids have a better opportunity to learn a trade and in a lot of Instances the kid, person that learns a trade makes more money

It’s not the worst thing in education, marginalizing a group of people in education is the worst thing. There are a lot of ignorant students that are admitted to higher learning Ivy League schools that should not be there. Stop acting as if you know what educational opportunities do for marginalized people.

When the metrics are normalized to percent/proportionality of population, all things even out pretty well. More white people are at Harvard because there are over 200-million in the US; black people make up about 14% of the population; therefore, there are less at Harvard. The people - black or white - who are getting into Harvard are all talented, and most should be graduating.

Male and female are the distinctions of nature, good and bad the distinctions of Heaven; but how a race of men came into the world so exalted above the rest, and distinguished like some new species, is worth inquiring into, and whether they are the means of happiness or of misery to mankind.
@roberteytchison5563 ай бұрын
The devil is in the details of the Harvard study. That is because the sample size is so small. Before tightening standards it was significantly lower. Only 116 students are in the sample size of that study. That is a smaller sample than the sample size from studies done 10 years ago at Havard of almost double incoming rates and an almost 45% drop out rate.

What? Huge % entering Ivy schools are legacies. They aren’t better. It’s about allowing more to sit and interact at the exclusive tables. A college's reputation is like a name brand verses a generic brand. You pay more for the name brand but in truth the generic brand is just as good, sometime better. Hill defeats his own argument when he says you get just as many idiots graduating from Harvard as other schools. So what's the point of touting Harvard or some other touted school as a better source of education (especially for minorities) than a lesser known school where one can get just as good or sometimes a better education ("1+1=2" no matter what math class at what school you're going to attend.)? Sometimes a smaller class size, the availability of the instructor, can determine how well a student absorbs the matter. A reputation only goes as far as when you have to prove that reputation.
