People thought the style then was weird but now it nostalgic. I miss it in a way. The graphic tees, pink and black stars, and the hair. I remember I wanted to achieve the poofy hair and bangs. I tried but likely looks silly now but then people loved it and girls would swoon over the hair swoop.

The best times to grow up were the 1990's honestly. Dont get me wrong, I absolutely LOVED being a teen in the early 2000's with all the best new bands of the decade just making their debut and the most memorable movies of the last 20 years like Super Troopers and Scary Movie 2, but the 90's were the last few years of a time when we truly connected in a way other than the internet because very few of us had it.

I know this is an old post but I couldn't agree more. I think 2008 was the best year of my adult life. Especially towards the end. I was 22 and my friend group and I drank all the free beer at the DNC in Hartford CT on election night. When Obama won Connecticut the entire room went BONKERS. Then we went to a bar nearby because we really did drink them out of beer lol. I was still naive but that made it so much easier to enjoy life.
