6 months out of the uk perfect ! I would love to do what you are doing good luck to you , we always make the journey to the alps but only for 2-3 weeks at a time , we are in money saving mode at present and have not been for 8 months so I’m relying on your films no pressure..........have a great time

Gavin Streetie Your so right about 6 months out of the UK being perfect. Do you have any tips or advice for us as we are completely new motorhoming let alone winter motorhoming so any advice is welcome! Hope the saving is going well so maybe we can meet up next season. Winterized not really sure if I’m qualified to offer yourself any advice , we been travelling back and forth from the Alps for nearly 8 years however most of our experience would be from summer and autumn visits, we are walkers and beginners at mountaineering ,and we have hired a motorhomes a couple of times for a extended period , little bit like a busmans holiday for me as I’m a truck driver , our normal base is around Chamonix but we do like Switzerland, as for the motorhome I have not taken the plunge yet and have not decided if it’s caravan or motor home but by the end of summer I will decide as I am working towards the 6mth plan like your self’s Really interested in those winter tyres you have on the van Maybe just one thing everything you do is a adventure so really enjoy Regards Gavin

Gavin Streetie ok.... We'll trade tips! Motorhome over caravan if you ever plan on doing a winter trip! Ref tyres....Falken EuroWinter VAN01's..... Amazing. We're testing them so you might think us biased but wait until the next video or so if you want to see what they can do... Honestly... Outstanding. Completely blew us away in terms of what they're capable of.

I see you’re also a banbury chap! We took our caravan to chatel to the site next door to the aire you went in. We also love Les gets too. So jealous you’re in the alps for 6 months! How did you get upgraded to vip on the ferry? Great videos. 👍

James Butler Chatel was awesome... Just want to go back with skills this time because I didn't really make the most of it as a beginner! VIP is easy... Think you can actually do it when you check in.

Winterized I loved chatel more than Les gets. Much better slopes but village wasn’t as good as Les gets. We paid for vip but thought you got it for free!
