I love the wallpaper in the room with the large table. A lot done, but a way to go still but I'm not complaining because I love this series.

Still a lot to go mate. Mum must be in 2 minds. A long history and a new future. Her gardens still look so beautiful. Lucky this one isn’t like having to get out of the shop in a hurry.

Thanks Chris, that looks like another productive days work, good to hear you got a couple of good sales on the furniture ! It seems hard to believe now that anyone ever thought it was reasonable to just dump everything in a big hole and forget about it. It's not so bad things like pottery and glass ( which was the bulk of waste tips in the 19th century ) but all the chemicals and batteries and plastics never made any sense ! You show a great example in keeping as much out of landfill as possible ! Hoping you find a local buyer for the Wagon !

Thanks Andy! Yeah the large hole in the ground system was so irresponsible! I can remember seeing drums of oil & chemicals and all sorts of toxic stuff! 😱

The unthinkable has happened with my Ultimate Recycler Drinking Game! It was never supposed to happen! The odd-makers said it was impossible!!! He used the word "fossick", not just once, but three times for the Holy Trinity of Oz! Now I must go sober! Say it ain't so, Chris!!!

Hi Chris, i suspect your days are longer than 24 hrs. I feel for your mum though, she must be overwhelmed and exhausted. I moved again last year for the umteenth time and now im older its so much harder than it used to be. Good luck "mum" it will be all over soon. Cheers from Ballarat

You missed the critical step when describing the tip - after you unloaded all your rubbish, you'd rummage around and see what useful things you could grab. The ladies would get mighty upset if you came home with more than you took, lol. Can't do that these days - the transfer station people do the rummaging and sell it to you instead :-(

Spot on Bob. Get charged to drop your pruning off, so they can turn it into “compost”. And sell it back to you. Mind you, that’s what they want us to put in the new bin that they are charging us for.
