Produced by Jim Austin, this is a video about the 1911 Great Fire of Eganville, supposedly started by 2 or 3 boys smoking cigarettes and playing cards in a warehouse.

My great grand parents lived in Gratton l don't think they were involved but interesting to see how people lived at the time I live in the UK. so any information I can get is very welcome .Mary Staplehurst Bedford England

Very good video! You didn't mention any lives lost, which seems incredible when you consider how fast the fire moved and how much in consumed.

My Grandmother was born in 1909, so she was about 2, Anna Maloney, became Anna Lyons!
