I somewhat agree, but there are good bluff spots here that he missed and didn't take. For example, 2:10 open-ender on a rainbow board that is better for our range than our opponent's range and in position, this is perfect spot to raise the flop. Balancing our 65s and T9s with our flopped sets/87s would make perfect sense here. At 12:30, I like the turn call, but this is a good spot to check-raise the turn if he wants to make the vlog interesting. He can take unconventional lines without becoming a calling station.

Does it matter if you look at your cards or do you win the same either way? Doesn't matter how much I drink or even if I have my eyes open, my driving still sucks. Probably not a good brag. Again sorry, just couldn't read it any other way. Once had a coworker offer me pot at lunch on a construction job. I said no thanks, I really never smoke and there's no way I could function if I was high. His response was, it doesn't affect me at all, I couldn't function without it. 2nd hand with the bottom end of a straight - when you have the bottom end of a straight in a 4 handed non 3 bet pot, and there’s 4 to a straight on the board, the vast majority of the time, someone has the top end. Too many people in the hand in this instance especially with the pre flop action. A 6 is in many people’s initial raise calling range. I didn’t watch how the rest of this turned out, but this is just to keep in mind to not be results oriented. I wonder if suited queens should be called in the volume pot with 5 players. The problem here is that with so many players in there, the risk of being against higher hearts is significant and costly. I think that is a fold or maybe very rarely a 3-bet. Something connected like 6-4 might be better to take a flyer with because it has nut potential.

Hi Ethan. Too bad the month of December is not too good to you. Hopefully the new year gives you much luck. Try to tighten up a little. Ciao🌹

my 3 rules of poker....#1 dont play after drinking or drunk #2 dont play tired #3 dont play mad.......i think you had a couple obvious lay downs and didnt think it through as you normally would. swings are inevitable but bad decision making hurts your bottom line.....

15:42 In this spot small bets are tricky because you don't get enough information. Betting small and getting jammed on allows your opponent to polarise. If you bet bigger and get raised you have a much clearer picture and so a fold becomes easier. So, ironically, betting small got you into more trouble than betting large!

Wow, you never cease to amaze, you are like a young rich guy that has a dream and most of your poker is a nightmare!!! Learn to fold once and a while... playing 5-7 is exactly a nightmare that you induced!!!! Better luck next time, because that's what it is to you... lUCK

On that last hand, what would V possibly bluff with there, given that H bet thrice on a paired board with a draw? Should’ve been a check or a bet fold for thin value against a 9 if V is a bad player

Thank you Ethan for showing the good and the Bad. I am starting to agree the "folding is boring" is starting to cost you a bit. However, I am one of those tight players. So, boring poker is ok with me. Still learn something every time I watch!

This is what happens when you aren't pulling coolers on people left and right, flopping the nuts and getting paid every time or hitting river 6 outers every other hand. Gotta change the play

Stop inflating the pot with top pair. You have to think when you’re betting “what is he calling this bet with that I can beat”. “what is he folding that I am beating” Your play is random and flashy and you’ve developed bad habits. Be careful

Maybe the image you built that night was not ideal. I am saying this because in at least 2 spots the other players checked to you knowing that they will check raise you back. Keep up the good work Ethan and thank you for the vlogs💙

Sometimes you lay that bad beat down, other times it's laid on you. You just got to dust off what remains of the bankroll, reload or sell off to get the cash for reload, then move onto the next game. And going into the next game stone-cold sober would make a bigger difference too--drunk poker is expensive.

Sir, I've watched many of your vlogs, and I have to say, I hope you were a better poker player before you started vlogging. I am assuming that many of the hands that you play, or the way you play them, are for entertainment purposes. You are the type of player that I would target at the table, and it looks like the players at this table were doing just that. The JJ777 boat that you ran into was played perfectly. I think your video editing and contest is great, but if you keep losing, you might re-think the vlog thing.

Very amateur play in this video: if there is a 4-liner to a straight, you NEVER raise someone (in a RING GAME) with the bottom-end, unless you're trying to push him off a chop. What hands are you hoping he calls with ? Honestly? You aren't deep enough for him to call with two-pair, unless he is terrible at math. Sure, he will call with set, but how often is that? He will call you with hands that beat you, and lay-down most that you're beating.

last hand; what was going to call you for that size of a bet? looking at the betting on every street he was not betting a large over pair you opened for 20 if they were paying attention to your play you could be slow playing a big pair or 7-8,6-7,A-7 suited. IF he is going to call your last bet the streets he is calling with are 5-6, 9-10, 8-8, J-J all beat you. he is raising the preflop with a big hand and calling until the river with draws like hearts.
