This skull seems to have an interesting bug to one of his skills. If you kill Yggie's first phase with the skill that insta-kills an enemy that is below 10%, it skips the second phase entirely. I tested a bit and it seems consistent

Think I've said it before but one of the reasons I love Skul: The Hero Slayer is the skull system especially where you take the weakest skulls and build them up, transforming them into more powerful forms over the course of the run. I think it's that sense of progression I like.

Fun fact about my new favorite Spartan skull. He has a skill called "Cruel Strike" that instantly executes any enemy below a certain health threshold. This skill can COMPLETELY BYPASS Yggdrasil's second phase if you beat first phase with Cruel Strike. I'm wondering if it works on the Twins. It'd probably require somehow finishing both at once with Cruel Strike and I have yet to have the chance to test it

It can also apparently bypass bosses that are immune to damage like the corrupt king when he's closing the area around you. Can prob kill Joan during his purple balls move or dad when doing his ultimates

I found out how to get the last blessing version of Skul at any point of the game and the only thing you need is the SkulPatcher mod (this should work with any cheat menu) , after installing it press f7 to open the menu, then press gear menu, on the left you'll see Spawn skull, scroll down until you see this sequence Royal Guard Captain oon/Test Skeleton Sword/na aoon/Skul EmperorEnding/na Skul eapon/Ref StoneMonkey/nam Stone Monkey Now just choose Skul and have some fun with one of the most broken skulls in this game

I actually like the fact that the secret dark quartz orbs are getting revealed slowly, it really feels like it being built up. Also, can’t wait to see just how hard it gets on level 10 difficulty. Great video, I love Spartacus!

Honestly, maybe it's just a skill issue, plus I'm not really huge fan of parries, but when the whole skull's damage and utility is based around certain mechanic, and it's a difficult one to pull off as well, it makes him feel kinda weak. I played him at DM8 and by the time I reached dad I realised, that I'm not gonna beat him, despite having quite decent items, my damage was just lacking outside of parries. Demi-god deals dmg only when you do a perfect parry, outside of that he's quite weak. Now, try to pull off a perfect parry in a regular mob room, with dozen of things trying to hit you, then perform an enchanced attack, and then get surprised pikachu face when something else hits you in the meantime. To me, he's the weakest of all mythology skulls. He's not bad, just very difficult to pull-off consistently.

It's not a skill issue, you just don't have enough experience with it (as is expected given that the skull is new). Once you get a proper feel of the parry, you start to love it! It's a grower, trust me

The amount of adrenaline u get from parrying attacks that would potentially hurt u big time, but when it connects it just makes your brain melt from excitement XD It actually quite neat after doing a perfect parry you get damage immunity for at least a second (1:22:21) here cuz damn, if it didnt had that you would prolly take a lot of damage from that barrage attack. That aside, great showcase again Beelz 🍻, excited for the next one.

Been enjoying all of the new skulls quite a lot, I think that Thor and The 4th one(Which you have probably already run, but don't have a video out for) are my favorite of the bunch. The 5th Skull is really satisfying and feels super smooth with all of his nonsense. I have been continuing to progress Dark Mirror through the new update, and I have been able to make it to 10 finally(whoo!) Trying to beat the 'story' fight for Alexander on high mirror is a nightmare, since the bomb's health scales with Dark mirror enemy modifiers. Had a pretty nasty Wisdom 4/Fairytale 5 run (The final fight upgraded Fairytale inscription is INSANE, btw) and couldn't beat the DPS check on the bomb on what was probably my fastest Dark Hero kill, so I'm probably going to need to turn the mirror down and beat that phase before I go back to progressing difficulty. You dropping the mirror to 0 for it was such a smart choice.

The unlocked achievement is called ''For Tonight, We Dine In Hell'' for the Gladiator too. Even though Leonidas (as far as everything I can find or know of him) was never a gladiator that fought to free slaves. Seems this character is a mixed bag.

As usual, Beelz's ultimate weakness is reading comprehension. Truly the greatest foe. Also, as much as I love the demigod aesthetically, I'm not a fan of him gameplay wise. Although I think a big part of that is I just don't have the timing for his counter down yet. Just feels a bit clunky to me at least so far. Also, might be a bit late depending on how far in advance you are recording these, but it would be really fitting if you did the enhanced dark quartz thing with the final DLC skull. Would just make sense thematically to finish off the new content and its secret with that last DLC skull.

Bro my friend is so good at parrying in MMO and roguelike games that he's defeating bosses under-geared almost everytime. So when spartacus got released he literally fkn broke the game, he did so much perfect parry that he can spam his skills cleared both the st joan and first hero hitless, that's crazy. He didn't even max his upgrades, didn't even have 2nd life.

Ah yes, my favorite character even when I haven't tried him yet....since I'm a console player, I like parries and I'd say that I'm pretty good at it. Also beelz, I haven't gotten by the end yet so I don't know if you've already learned this but, the parries on the skills are probably only in the start of the animation, it feels like there is some waiting time at the start before you attack the opponent, nonetheless, great video, but I'm not aware of much since yeah, I don't have the dlc yet in my switch. So that's what he does, I'll probably use him first in my first conquest to the emperor

when I used him, i went with the basic attack/attack speed build. I was slashing so fast the game bugged and stop me from attacking at all. i think the catch of the demigod is basic attacking because they also get powered if you parry. with that said, it would be very nice to see you do a "sashimi into infinity and beyond" run with this skull. (i didnt use the omen basic attack item, i suppose that would make it even more busted).

can I just say Ghoooooooul is the most broken skull in the game and I don't think he has any competition. I just did a run on dark mirror 10 and literally steamrolled the whole game. face tanking every boss including the first hero, alexander and the secret boss. the only boss I died to was alexander in the mech phase because I tried to face tank the actual blackhole and it hit me for 500 damage. Also watching the videos of each skull has been very cool.

yeah, still haven't purchased DLC, but love the new content. Staying on difficulty 10 and still have not beaten the final story boss. The furthest i have gotten was bomb, didn't have enough damage to burn through the huge HP pool and died at bomb countdown 0 . It legit feels like run ender day 1 Mecha exodia with the large HP pool.

Luckily you don't have to do the bomb after beating it once. I'd recommend clearing on a lower setting then doing 10 runs after. Some builds won't be able to break the bomb in time.
