The end is superb..by keeping things ambiguous….peace is maintained in the family. Even if the family is dysfunctional, elders in Indian society, let go many things to keep the peace intact…in this movie, finally , mother’s wish is fulfilled, and all the members come together for Diwali. The script is powerful and all the actors have acted convincingly…k k Menon steals the show….

Great movie... all actors including the little boy have done their part so amazing, that the acting, background score, story all adding up to a beautiful combination. What a movie! Honestly truly Indian. "You before me" can be the only alternative title. Now it's all about "me before you". The saddest part is today's people feel " You before me" js sheer stupidity and practice of therapists and psychiatrist are increasing exponentially. K K Menon is unforgettable. We should thank God for making him and connecting him to our origin. storyline and the way the story is being told introduce us to the director. Hats off to the producers who back such stories. I don't think in recent time any movie made me feel that it was worth investing time to watch.

I didnt understand the moto of the film actually. In this film they only showed negative narrative about Indian family, i couldnt relate to it at all, the things like 1. There is so much respect of the army person in his house and society as well, here its not the case 2. Though the young generation is free minded, but respecting our parents is the soul of Indian culture and still everyone follows that 3. We never broke rules in relationships, like bhabhi is at bhabhi place only 4. Celebration meaning just drinking, smonking even infront of small kids 5.Using abusive words infront of grandparents and even showing that the grandparents also enjoying it As a born and brought in Indian family i couldnt relate to this movie

Vikram was the biggest victim here. His mother favoured his brother. He made sacrifices for his brother became limp which affected him psychologically but instead of supporting him his wife acted immature. She became drunk slept with Samar and got pregnant. She never confessed and forced Vikram to sire the kid who was not his. Aditi only cared for her needs and never to look back and even though she is Vikram's daughter her traits are like Samar. Out of all the people who could relate to Vikram was Sonali, but come on its Vikram not Samar who will sleep with his sister in law.

Story is good . Lies nd dark secrets of a family that unfold In a weird way. But it is sooo dragged. A lot of scenes were not needed , it makes movie boring. Twist nd turns are good but unveiled improperly. Movie should've been of 2 hours rather than 3.
