JHS is so good! Been eyeballing a few of their pedals. Just added the switchback to the pedal bench. And I have their Ross Chorus!

How did you set up the morningglory-ish sound for the violet? I'm currently comparing it with the walrus audio ages. Both sound incredible and are versatile, but I'm still trying to find a great overdrive bluesdriver-ish sound on the violet. The Ages sounds so great as well. Certainly less high gain and by no means close to a distortion but its 5 incredibly flavoured voicings of the same thing without sacrificing versatility. I bet the ages would work well with another drive for some heavier or more distorted sounds. Actually the JHS violet into the Walrus Ages sounds AMAZING, especially if you dial in the dry signal on the Ages so the previous distortion/drive comes through while keeping the guitar tone and articulation

The Ages sounds pretty sick, well ha e to check that one out! For the Violet, the mids knob is the key! I would recommend taking the mids and gain down to around 9 o’clock then adjust bass, treble, and mid freq to taste (depends somewhat on the guitar you’re playing). Thanks for watching! 🤘🤘🤘

I own the PG-14! I love stacking it with the EQD Plumes. I haven't tried the violet yet!
