I’m sitting here swaying as I watch and listen. I’ve been watching a lot of the videos over time and because of my own eclectic beliefs in honoring our ancient ancestors I am drawn to this. I love the women and children being involved and that meal together. What a way to gather and burn energy.

Really good video, it captures the whole atmosphere and culture around the dhikr. The aim of it to create the spiritual bond to perform the most important dhikr of Allah in the form of the salah 4:52. As well as the familial atmosphere around it with the women cooking, kids enjoying themselves

This is zikar and they are Muslims who follow Sufism by doing this they find love within the heart of hearts its peaceful... The energy and vibe is amazing...

This is a gathering for the remembrance of God - something all Muslims are encouraged to do. It includes singing spiritual songs, but the culmination (the middle part of the video) is focusing on a particular type of remembrance - in this case "La ilaha illallah", which is the Arabic testification of faith, meaning "There is no god [existent/worthy of worship/etc] except God". The group movement and rhythm are facilitative to remembering God throughout the gathering, such that the heart is filled with the meaning of the phrase one is mentioning. The objective is to reach a spiritual state in one's life in which one is in a constant state of connection and obedience with God. This is achieved through regular gatherings like this, as well as other regular practices prescribed for Muslims like the 5 daily prayers, fasting, not harming others with one's tongue or limb, etc. This specific type of gathering is common in Chechnya - you'll find that similar gatherings will look somewhat different in other parts of the world. The core is the same, but the outward manifestation will differ - unlike rituals like the 5 daily prayers, which look the same no matter where you go. That's from my limited understanding. The war ended with the Sufi mujadideen making peace agreement with Russia and with that, the rule of Chechnya was transferred to the Sufi factions. Alhamdulilah still today, the sufis still rule Chechnya and are maintaining their peace treaty with Russia. There is peace and harmony between them and they’re keeping their promises of peace. after islamic, happend with few peeps who werent educated in the religion enough so they started doing dhikr in a group which was clearly forbidden, well the khalif punished them for doing such "innovative" stupid ass tings. ottoman empire was like a treasure chest full of sufi ppl, but this is def. wrong.
