@@RahulSharma-vu7ok Panipat was also one of the blows I will never argue against that but Madhavrao had nearly strengthened the Marathas again after this during the Maratha revival and he was the last strong leader who could keep the Empire centralised and all the sardars listened to him but it was after his death that the Marathas actually became a confederacy the next Peshwas weren't as competent as Madhavrao and some like Narayanrao didn't get to rule for long so I consider Madhavrao's death as much as a crippling blow to the Maratha Empire that Panipat was

Battle of plassey tilted the scale on British side as bengal was the richest province of India back then. Had French east India company defended chandannagar and Mirjafar didn't betray Nawab of bengal against English East India Company, history would've been different. Different doesn't always mean better though. France also exploited it's colonies like British , Dutch , Portuguese or Spanish in worst possible ways.

मुगलों ने कौन कौन सी बड़ी लड़ाई अंग्रेजो पुर्तगीज डच और फ्रांसीसियों से लड़ी थी। प्रकाश डालिये।। मुझे इतिहास की थोड़ी सी ही जानकारी है।। जिसमें ये है कि अंग्रेजों से मराठों, सिखों ने प्रथम द्वितीय और तृतीय युद्ध किया था।। जो कि अपना साम्राज्य बचाने के साथ ही साथ विदेशी ताकतों व कम्पनी को बाहर निकाल ने की भावना से भरी थीं।। यही भावना टीपू, और बंगाल के सिराजुद्दौला में भी थी।। जो बाद में उन भारतीय सिपाहियों और शासकों को 1857में भी हुआ। जिनके दम और सहयोग से अंग्रेजो ने भारत को गुलाम बना। ।। मराठों ने भी बहुत सी गलतियां की थी। जिस हिंदवी स्वराज की परिकल्पना देवतुल्य छत्रपति शिवाजी महाराज ने की थी। उसे छत्रपति शाहूजी महाराज जी और बाजीराव प्रथम ने आगे बढ़ाया।। लेकिन इनके बाद के लोगो ने कायम नहीं रखा। मराठा मंडल के बाहर जाकर मराठों ने जमीनें तो बहुत जीती। अटक से कटक तक विस्तार किया। लेकिन जनता के विश्वास और ममता नही पा सकें। केवल और केवल लूट प्रताड़ना और वसूली तक ही सिमट गए।। बंगाल Orissa छत्तीसगढ़ में देखने को मिलता है ।। रतनपुर रायपुर और संबलपुर कटक आदि हिन्दू राज्यों को नष्ट कर दिया। लेकिन अनेक मौके मिलने के बाद भी मराठों ने मुस्लिम राज्यों दिल्ली, बंगाल हैदराबाद भोपाल मैसूर आदि को लेकर उदासीन और आश्चर्यजनक रव्वैया समझ में नहीं आता।।। छत्रपति और बाजीराव प्रथम के महान संकल्पों में से एक काशी विश्वनाथ, मथुरा प्रयाग को मुक्त नहीं कर सके।। इस सम्बंध में महादजी सिंधिया का काम उल्लेखनीय हैं जिसमे उन्होंने सोमनाथ मंदिर को नष्ट कर लूटे गए चांदी के दरवाजों को लाहौर रावलपिंडी से वापस लाकर महाकाल मंदिर उज्जैन का नव निर्माण कराया और लगवाया।।
