Beautiful song, wonderfully presented, but it misrepresents Scripture. We sang it in church over a half century ago. A "seraph" is reportedly a "fiery (or poisonous) serpent," and the 7 verses the word "seraph" or "seraphim" appears in (in the Old Testament, long before Jesus) say nothing about their "song." Should "poetic license" permit changing the words of the Bible? While we're at it, "Hark, the herald angels sing" also didn't happen. They SAID "Glory to God in the highest," NOT "glory to the new-born king."
