Nyctibius grandis is always a target in our birding tours. Some native people say that potoos are bad omens, specially when it sings. A very interesting bird that disguises itself as a branch. A successful anti predation strategy used not only by the potoos in the Neotropics but also by the frogmouths from Asia and Australia.
