@@StarlasAiko that’s I’m pretty sure just a film theory, theory, but I might be wrong
@StarlasAiko3 жыл бұрын
Ricardo Ronco since it is difficult to determine what is canon and what isn't, with all the worlds and universes going on in both DC and Marvel, I can't say if it is more than a theory, but it has been a published comic arch. In that arch, he was fully aware that he was a villain in a comic, and therefor, all his killing didn't actually cause any harm, not to real people anyways. When Batman died, however, he realised that he was wrong, after all, no comic series would kill off their hero,and if the hero could die, that meant it was not all just a comic story. He regretted his crimes and stopped being the Joker, going back to his pre-crime life working a nine to five (but of course, he didn't turn himself in for his crimes). When Batman reappeared (can't remember if he was revived or just turned out he wasn't actually dead) he went full on back to being Joker. In a different story arch, his psychologist wrote down that his insanities don't follow the characteristics of known mental health issues and concludes that he is faking it (i know personality disorders are also mental disorders and i don't recall the specifics that lead to the psychiatrist to concluding that way). The diagnosis was not that the Joker was merely sane, but more sane than anybody else ever, he was super sane. I believe that was also the story in which Joker was talking about his Imaginary Fans. Th story with the mention of his imaginary fans ends with a fourth wall break in Joker's padded cell, Joker looking at the reader and asking for confirmation that the reader really exists.

The best thing about having the Joker as the main villain in a story? You don't need to give him a motivation. While Nolan kind off did that, its not really a requirement. You can just have him do bad things for no real reason, out of nowhere, and it still would work because, well, its the Joker.

"I mean, do you even know how close we get to World War 3 over a flock of geese on a computer screen?!" That's straight up facts, my friend. I've never really been too interested in the joker, but after this compilation its changed. Man's got some gold in his lines. And I'm glad to know even he has limits to who he'll challenge. Sure, he can go try and trick up the nearest supergod, but the IRS? Nope, he's got his priorities on paying taxes when they're due.

The funniest thing in his monologue about how everything is one big joke, that he is right. Maybe it`s not on 100% true, but jokes on you lier, if ya say that it`s fully incorrect.

joker is probably one of, if not my absolute fav villains of all time. he simply isn't a conventional villain. he's very unique in why he does things. i don't like some of his character designs or voices but no matter his appearance or sound he still prevails to be the greatest genius yet madman of all time, a character type you rarely see, and rarely see well done for that matter. also, you can never go wrong with purple, it's simply fantastic
