Any advice for stocks that can outperform the S&P500 this 2024? I am at the beginning of my "investment journey" I plan to put 185K into dividend stocks so that I will be making up to 30% per year in dividend returns to quicken up my retirement.

That's right, investing with the help of a financial advisor set me up for life with about $1.6m in stock portfolio. I max out my 401k and have few properties. I worked hard everyday as a teacher for 32 years, and my salary was over 100k annually. But if it wasn't for 2020 covid lockdown, I wouldn't have supplemented my income with stocks and alternative investments.

Always great quality. Although I think you are missing that we just tagged major resistance levels / parallel channels that for many years out Of this is a top of this cycle, we will range up here and distribute for a few days and weeks before a lower high and low shows itself. I just don’t see this as a good market. At any moment we could literally crash. Although rare. It’s just the conditions are set perfectly the 10-2y ugly 10 year is flying and 2y barely DXY is about to break out of a range it’s been testing for the last 2 years. The carry trade about to blow up Banks screwed. Unemployment 4%.| so much else like only a few names causing SPX to rally. Can we get a reality check?

Im still in it. I took a 4% position lol. My semi trade went up 7% and my tesla trade went up 6%. I shared this all on the live stream today. So my portfolio hit another all time high today. Thats because i know how positioning sizing works, which judging by your comment, you do not

@@FiguringOutMoney Since you mention using stops I ass-oom you had a stop on RL. Where did you stop out? You don't have to answer if you don't want to. I was just trying to get a feel for where you set stops. I don't use stops. I won't enter a trade if I don't have confidence in it. For instance, I bought SPCE shares today at 8.85. Probably one of the biggest dawgs on the planet but it did signal quadruple buy today on the 10 day 15 minute chart according to DMI. You can take a 4% position in a dawg like SPCE because if you are right it doubles. Small bet = Large payout

Even if we are not accustomed to such volatile markets with a little carnage, the widespread frenzy and worry are understandable given that the US Stock Market has been on its longest bull run in history. However, there are opportunities everywhere if you know where to look; with the help of an investment advisor whom helped diversify my portfolio I netted over $260k in profits the previous year.

For you to grow your portfolio in today's market, you really need to be coachable and willing to get off your high horses. I for example, have managed to grow mine from $150k to 300% of my initial deposit within the past 8 months just by copying trades from a broker that has better skillset and technical know-how than me.
