Im the pianist on the 1972 recording (Ron Thomas). I am amazed and delighted these performances are still being explored and studied. What a privilege for me to have been on board with Pat for this music…..

Wow Ron! Thanks for your note, that must have been an amazing time. I got to know Pat later on in life, I can't imagine what it would have been like to hang with him in the 70's. Thanks!

Super! One of my favorite Pat Martino compositions. I first heard this in 1974 and it changed my musical trajectory. Fantastic rendition. I'll have to buy this lesson. Thanks Barry.

Unfortunately my trajectory was more like a Chinese spy balloon compared to your Saturn 5. 😁@@BarryGreene

exciting! You really know how to stir us guitar players up. Outstanding, Barry. Look forward to grabbing even just a piece of what I just saw.

Thanks Michael! Honestly all you need is one or two phrases, learn them in at least two positions and began to incorporate your own language into them. All the best

What kind of plectrum do you prefer for both solo and rythm?
@BarryGreene Жыл бұрын
I mostly use pro place pics 1.5mm. Lately I've been using a medium teardrop shaped one. I go back and forth. Thanks!

Hey you've got the Benedetto Pat Martino model sounding a bit more jazzy and punchy sounding than usual. What strings and amp are you using? I'm thinking of buying one of them.
