Wow, Mark! What a fantastic place! A great video not only showing what the old trains looked like, but how the folks lived. I got to see a couple cool train museums in the UK, this is another one that looks well worth the visit! Brilliant! Thanks for the share!

Ah Steam I know it well. The poor guy still getting a roasting in the managers office at the beginning. The Hornby layout was donated after Hornby pulled out of the Outlet Village opposite the museum a couple of years ago, it used to be sat near the Manor class just outside the food hall opposite their shop, that’s if you actually ventured into the shopping halls.

Sorry for skipping parts of this, but I didn't want to run into my food time. Bet you enjoyed yourself. Who could possibly visit Steam Museum without gazing at my beloved steamy daughter, City of Truro? Believe me, if I had been there with you, it would have been difficult for you to prise us apart.

Hi Mark Wow! I like this video, I went to Didcot a couple of years ago, actually inbetween the second and first "lockdowns" Sept 2021 and it was near the end of the day, last admissions were 14.00 then. So I didn't have a great deal of time to take it all in and I missed going into the 'Museum' bit that you have on your video, as I was more interested in the loco's outside and a couple of quick rides on the steam railmotor. But this video has made me want to return to Didcot to see all of this stuff. Great video Mark! I shall be making plans to revisit. Thanks
