Nicely portioned, not unlike Clyde Style if it were a tad more sparse. Thank you for tying.

Beautifully tied as always Robert. Would this be a representation of the Large Dark Olive?

Probably, as it is early in Kirkbride's list of flies. I've fished it on the Wharfe, and had some good catches with it. But, as with all traditional split wing dry flies, a couple of fish, and the wings start to fall apart. But, having said that, it is nice to see a traditional split wing dry fly dancing down stream.

Class . Would you fish this wet or dry
@TERRYBIGGENDEN4 күн бұрын
@@mazman8343 Looks lke a classc dry. have got to a stage where I sometmes grease up a wet fly and fsh it dry or emerger style and sometmes just let a dry fly become waterlogged and sink. :-)
