isn't Black Cleaver better than Serylda's Grudge with this build since the latter scales with lethality ?

I think he wasnt in a rush to get armor pen or lethality cuz Volibear and Draven via tabi boots were the only ones with armor the majority of the game. I did tons of testing in the tool and hexplate 2nd is better for games where most of their team has very small amounts of armor. Once they start getting towards 50-100 armor cleaver is better imho and more core because it will give similiar dmg output even with hexplate atk speed buff on r passive, and cleaver is more gold efficient and gives a lil more health. I think the reason why we see hexplate so often is it is noticeably better at doing something like killing an ashe with 48 armor for example

Serylda's is almost a niche item on Nocturne currently, Black Cleaver is pretty much a core item in most games, usually third after ExHex.

Thanks for the commentary, i enjoyed it. Now i understand nocturne, i just started playing it cause of empyrean skin. But i do it wrong with lethality and it doesnt felt right, its harder, now i know im gonna applied this in my game later. Thanks

Profane Hydra is a completely valid item on Nocturne instead of Stridebreaker if the enemy team doesn't have a lot of dashes they can use to jump out of your E, but you should try to build bruiser items instead of full glass cannon since Noc can't survive for long in the middle of a team fight and he has no escapes once he ults in. You can even go Frozen Heart against heavy AD comps and in many games I manage to tank as much or more damage than the actual tanks.

@@andypae yeah but i do like stridebreaker more as 1st item cause it gives me more hp and attack speed early and it lets me tank most of skirmish early on and have a good lead for my team so they can carry me later. I always do clever and then axiom arc and after that i can add tank items mostly mr are good such as kaenic rooken or jaksho and then its gg cause my ult are always available haha😆

his win rate hasnt hurted or has gone up since they took it out, I think people finally realized Noc does well building HP and getting a bit bruisery a lot better than being an all lethality or AD assassin

The one thing that's bothering me with this gameplay is that he ulted only 2x pre 14 min, the third ult was totally unnecessary because he would've killed him without it easily. What's the point of rushing 6 sub 7 min if you're not gonna use the tool that lvl 6 gives you? If i watch nocs in my mid diamond games, or play him myself, there is always a play to be done with ult but holding it for minutes is such a waste, especially with all the flashes that are down in this match.
