Force was OP as hell, no defence against it, Grey Knights being able to spam it was the bane of 7th edition. Made it impossible to balance, very fluffy but didn't necessarily make for a fun game. That and Jaws of the World Wolf, which penalised certain armies hard (and that it could be fired from inside a transport made it very strong).

Sarah, do yourself and that guy a favor and find someone else. Even the seemingly innocent texting from someone who is obviously interested is enough to cause problems in his relationship. You are also still holding on by doing this which will only make it harder on yourself. I've been on the receiving end of this situation. He wants to be nice and stay friends, acting oblivious. But it could be sewing distrust in his relationship especially if you keep testing boundaries. If you really want to stay as just a friend to him, find yourself a partner first.

Also if the opponent was trying to WIN (for narrative reasons) rather than just do his best story wise, he's clearly just metagaming, if the narrative screws you... Well you're screwed... Just make the narrative reflect it on a comparative basis

If you push and have chaff units spread out, there's nowhere for the gks to jump around. Regardless, if you're playing daemons you've gotta kill the little guys first, deny them points scorers, they have no transports to hide them in.
