I still do have it and use it quite frequently. There have been a few minor issues, but overall the backpack is still in good working condition.

Seems a bit heavy though.. Wondering if it would be better off just getting a lighter mountaineering bag that has the same features and design (just lighter), and adding a camera unit. Maybe not the most practical, but must lighter

I’ve never had a weight issue, but there are definitely better built packs out there

@@tavakessler a whole inch of padding is pretty excessive. The material is also very durable, but I find its too much, which makes it too heavy. Comparing that bag to other bags, its on the heavier end. The design of the bag is pretty good. Its a good bag, wish it was more narrow than wide, but its good overall. Just the weight is the killer

Hi there! I would say yes, because you can rearrange the compartment a ton. But it might have to be removed from the body.

Great review mate. What are your thoughts taking it for an overnight trip with a body and maybe 2 lenses? Do you think it'd be possible to include food, a small tent and a sleeping bag?

It would be difficult, but likely possible. I don’t think you’d be able to pack that much with the camera cube (as it takes up a lot of space). But maybe if you pack clothes into the other divider compartments, and are really strategic with the top compartment packing, I could see it done.

I was also thinking about your question more in a winter camping point of view (with lots of heavy clothing and safety gear). Summer camping would be much more feasible with this backpack.

It wont fit under the seat. But i have this bag and i had it in the overhead compartment and it does fit. Just make. Sure that when you are boarding try to compress it as much as you can. Because if you expand it it would be noticeably taller and some crews might not allow it. With it compressed the dimensions are exactly on most airline carriers standard. If it goes beyond 7kgs, you can remove the internal camera compartment and tell them its your personal bag and you are good to go.

@@beyootv1333 it does have a laptop compartment inside. In my case i put my laptop on an eva case and remove the front velcro divider for the 50/50 compartment so my thick. Laptop could fit. The cube will be adusted nearer to your back and its fine. My eva case with an asus gaming laptop is 4.5cm with the eva case thick and it's fine there. You csn also put it on the front.
