Dlah Designs plate is what you're looking for. Brings the optic way lower than the Factory Beretta plates do. Plenty of people will vouch for his plates on the Beretta sub too.

IT sure is one of a kind looking, i like the B.B. LOK GRIPS . VERY FLAT SHOOTING, Trigger is different...the proof is in the action. Langdon Tactical makes a very flat RMR plate with integrated rear sight that's matched to their front sight for CO-WITTNESS, For a high sitting mount Holosun 507C green ACSS reticle helps with the presentation, the outer circle disappears when aligned showing only the Chevron arrow, the point of the Chevron is your target, the target is never covered up by the Chevron. The only problem with sitting so high over bore , i set my G-45 zero at 30 ft , closer is slightly under, beyond 30' is a slightly over at 45' . Its a good Sight for a higher sitting situation

Barsto makes replacement ported barrels. The only tricky part is hooking it up to the locking block.

According to my research, barrel porting reduces velocity by 5%. Not much. Proper technique and a nice trigger are more effective for faster shooting than porting, imho.

I agree that everyone should start out with a stock gun and be competent with it. That being said a self defense situation is open division. You better be well trained and have good tools. So have the best gun you can shoot well with. Ported guns or comped guns aren’t for everyone, but many people like to squeeze the last bit of performance out of their platform. We do need to keep in mind the law of diminishing returns but if someone wants to spend the money go ahead. Or some just like to tinker and build cool guns. Like tuning cars. To each their own.

The question is why port there instead of using a longer barrel or add a bit by thread to have it a.) kook a bit more Raffica like and b.) Not losing velocity? Also, the slide runs over the dirty bungholes instead of having them in the front. Not enough gas in front for those small cuts? The jeans wash...sorry, the swash buckle 'airbrush' accident doesn't make it better to me, same with high mounted rds.
