This made me think, how awesome would it be if we could experience Planet Coaster with VR? Or if they will ever have VR theaters? I went on the Avatar VR ride at Disney World and I couldn't help but hope for the future, when we could build our own rides and then ride them in virtual reality, or when there are entire theme parks or immersive stories JUST LIKE THIS that can be experienced with VR including the whole bit, motion simulation, air blowing, vibration, etc.... If I won the lottery I would hire everyone necessary INCLUDING PIXELATED to make it happen!

flight of passage isnt a vr ride tho, its a variation on the flying theatre concept
@dylanmiller91826 ай бұрын
@@darkride_enthusiast69420 Right, I guess simulation would be a better word for the general concept. Either way, anything that utilizes multiple senses would be awesome!

I think if Pixelated did another 4 year creation like Humanity, even *IF* PlanCo2 was out then, that the audience would STILL show up for Pixelated's PlanCo created project. What I love & find inspiring about this creation is that Pixelated never gave up on this wonderful PlanCo, story coaster experience and we are all the recipients of this fantastic ride, as you said, not only with viewing this masterpiece, but also in being able to use many of the assets used on the project and it is fun to see an OG created TMTK asset used down the road in other parks, rides, etc. It's like a little easter egg to the TMTK artists. I always hear it said that "PlanCo is dead" and everyone just wanting PlanCo2 already... and yeah there's things PlanCo doesn't have that even with TMTK, you can't get like weather, but with that said, Pixelated shows us with this creation, that PlanCo isn't dead.... as long as you have an imagination, an idea, and the patience to bring it to life in this game! You said that this story could've been told via animation rather than in this game, & I think that this was the perfect vehicle to bring this story to life. Imho, this story would've felt a bit flat just watching it as an animation or told some other way. The beauty of using PlanCo as the platform is that this experience feels very much like a hybrid between Disneylands' Star Tours ride & Universal Studios ride, Transformers and Indiana Jones mixed together, in that you feel like you're in the movie or ride experience & I think by using the coasters, you're part of the action ~ you feel it in some places, especially watching this on a big screen. I'll stop here cause I can write a novel about how I feel about this.... 😆 Anyhow, I enjoyed the commentary on this & seeing a bit more behind the scenes of this ride. I know you've had Pixelated & his rides behind the scenes before & I'd definitely bring my popcorn to watch another of you two in that type of video. It was fun hearing your thoughts & reactions as you rode this! ☮️ & ❤️ ~ SmilingOma333🙂

This isn't a ride anymore, it's an experience in moving art. The crew of Pixelated are masters with this wild game engine. Same goes for Tommy T. But, as epic Tommy's builds can be, he doesn't go for a literal movie in asset artwork, using so many tricks that break the visual medium wide open with only props. It's difficult to really call this a coaster anymore when even the fast sections fell more like a character running or sliding than a ride car, which was clearly the intention that paid off perfectly. Another aspect that removes it from being a coaster in form is that everything is a visual experience and you don't even pay attention to it being a hidden ride. That's what I love about it. You fall into the narrative escapism of the journey and don't think about the game that everything is constructed from. I'm not surprised more Planet Coaster creators do not make masterpieces like Pixelated. Like with this one, it takes years of trial and error, as well patience in the concept of the build. Not many would be up to the task. Glad we have the Pixelated team. Shame it will take another few years to top this one. LOL Looking forward to it.

Beautiful, intriguing and most excellent computerized dark ride with many familiar other games that Johnny was saying and I was saying some like Doom, Tron and actually what i was saying was touches of all the classic DOS games like the Doom games, Quake and Spear Of Destiny feel thtoughout this mega intense dark ride. I'm not even builder in Channel5Gaming and I knew some of how it was done thanks to my own creative writing mind to control, to let my eyes see it, to experience and enjoy the iconic making of what Pixalated has done to get to this one ride he has created! Bravo!!

I think Pixeladed just messed up your ranking system. He should have his own rank until someone else achieves this level. Frontier created something that I believe they didn't know was possible until Pixelated kick in their doors and said "Surprise M-Fer. This guy is always amazing even those who think they know everything about Planco, until Pixelated tells you to hold his beer. Great work, never seen anything like it in Planco.

There is SOMETHING sorely missing from these Planet Coaster MEGA AWESOME theme park creations. It's CURRENTLY impossible to get a REAL GAUGE on things such as: how smooth the rides are, comfort quality of rides & ride enjoy-ability, etc. Some PREVIOUS theme park video games would let the guests get sick if the ride was vomit inducing or the guests would get sick if they did not enjoy food places. It was kind of 'SIMS LIKE'. All the guests here are just MINDLESS DRONES and won't be giving you any FEEDBACK about the ride quality. I PROPOSE we give A. I. something ACTUALLY useful & POTENTIALLY quite helpful to do. (Instead of just A.I. art and chat GPT.) Someone would need to code in a system (or something) where guests rank ride quality / enjoy-ability, etc. etc. Give all guests A. I. and let them rate ride quality / enjoy-ability, etc. etc. IN REAL TIME and have a STATISTICS feature that would say how guests are rating how smooth the rides are, comfort quality of rides & ride enjoy-ability, etc. Essentially let A. I. give you RIDE FEEDBACK. ("Planet Coaster: Now with REAL TIME A.I. ride feedback??") I think that would make a DOPE feature. Plus ++ Potential use of that information applied to real life rides??

Dear JonnyFiveAlive, I use this video to send you my personal words: I hope you're well. That's the most important. Take your time to come back, I'll wait and jump for any video you create, because they are so uplifting to me -- and I'm sure also for many others. Take that as a possible motivation, not as a "I need to do...", because I surely can live without them :) . Sounds harsh but I mean the opposite. I don't want to give you advise, but I feel Project Planco is like a stone on your leg: Don't try to make difficult things perfect, just make it so that you can finish that bad chapter, because I think it's not good for you to go deeper and deeper into that rabbit hole. Hope this helps you to find the balance back.
