The eggy smell is hydrogen sulphide (H2S), it is likely that water is coming up from the ground rather than above i.e. glacier water etc. It's safe but will give you a nice agg smell if you bathe in it lol

The regional language is potowari but majority of tourist are Punjabi’s from Pakistan , that’s why there is various dialects being spoken. Normally this area is deserted and litter free but thanks to social media , entire Punjab has now started to visit , the rubbish in our beautiful green areas is absolutely criminal and they are totally destroying this stunning area. The local government and environmental organisations need to urgently focus on addressing this littering issue. I cried watching this , we never had a single litter issue until these disrespectful tourist started coming. It’s now looking like a bazar in Punjab with filth everywhere.

Sadly there are lots of issues with such influx of tourist in such a small area , look at all these ppl and no toilet facilities , rubbish disposal or safety in place. Azad kashmir government needs to restrict the number of tourist going in these areas and also arrange for litter to be disposed of in environmentally friendly way. I had never seen plastic bottles and shopping bags , tins and crisps packets all over like this, it’s absolutely disgusting and hazardous to wildlife and our environment
