Proponents of "Sinless Perfection" purport to be without sin. Is this teaching Biblical? Does the Christian still sin? If I still sin, am I still saved? I pray this video provides clarity and dispels any confusion concerning this subject.

@felix29790 A person who believes in Jesus but is still living an immoral life is not sincere in their belief. A believer will have a different attitude and will try to stop obvious sin. We have the sin nature until we die and fight sin through our lives. It is a warring of two natures. Sometimes one wins sometimes one does not. We must stay close to God reading His word and praying. That woman was probably commiting adultery so it would have been doable for her to stop. There are no sinless Christians but we are forgiven thru the work of Christ on the cross.

PAUL TAUGHT AGAINST OSAS IN ALL HIS LETTERS PHIL 2:12 ¶Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. 13 For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure. 14¶Do all things without murmurings and disputings: 15That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world; 16Holding forth the word of life; that I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that I have not run in vain, neither laboured in vain. PAUL SAID WE CAN RUN IN VAIN IF WE DO NOT LIVE BLAMELESS (NO SIN) ITS ALWAYS POSSIBLE TO SIN OR TO OBEY & WE MUST CHOOSE TO OBEY UNLESS WE RISK JUDGEMENT FOR ONGOING UNREPRNTANT SIN 1 COR 10:13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it. REV 3:5 He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels. JESUS SAID IF WE DO NOT OVERCOME THEM WE WILL BE BLOTTED BACK OUT OF THE BOOK OF LIFE EPH 5:3-7 3But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints; 4Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks. 5For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. 6Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience. 7Be not ye therefore partakers with them. EPH 5:15-17 15¶See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, 16Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. 17¶Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is. MATH 7:21-29 21¶Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. The Two Foundations (Luke 6:47-49 ) 24¶Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: 25And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. 26¶And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: 27And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it. 28¶And it came to pass, when Jesus had ended these sayings, the people were astonished at his doctrine: 29For he taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes.

I've recently been talking to folks in my online group about this belief. The ones who came from churches that taught this belief they said are a combination of hyper-grace and once saved always saved. I would think the way you view it is more OSAS. My dear deceased Baptist brother held your view. I asked him once how he would respond at the judgement concerning obedience to good works. He responded he would claim the blood of Jesus. Now, don't get me wrong, I might very well be doing the same thing. I just think not being concerned about sin in my life seems like a risky road to tread. My understanding is that it's the blood of Jesus that gives us the grace and ability to deal with sin but not a free ticket to overlook it. Just my thoughts. Thanks for sharing. God bless.

I think that there's something in the description Paul gives. "It is not I who sins, but sin in me." Hmm idk. Some days I vape, and I'm addicted, but I don't beat myself up about it. I try not to feel guilty, because I know God has grace, and sometimes guilt can be a distraction. If I start feeling too guilty about a little thing like vaping, then I'm going to start to become weak and manipulable. If the enemy offers me the vape and I know that God has grace on me if I fail, it makes it easier to say no. But if for some reason, the enemy gets me feeling guilty, thinking thoughts like, "I'm a failure, I'm a weak addict, God is disappointed." I think collapse is much more likely. I'm so much more likely to behave like a weak addict, if I think I am one. And it gives me strength to know that *even if* I'm a weak addict, God is still gracious, still loving, and not disappointed in me.

The funny thing is.. Christians that are saved who say they don't sin are lying and lying is a sin and that has already been paid for; yet the true problem is when they start preaching the false gospel of adding on to the finished works of Jesus Christ. That is when it all becomes very dangerous spiritually. Newbie Christians will eat it up and become guilt ridden when making any error, and in turn become self-righteous or just simply leave the church out of spite. Blessed content. 💛

Here Paul is talking not about himsels. It is rethoric. He is talking about a Christian who walks according to the flesh. If you read chapter 7 verse by verse ,you will see he is talking about christians who live by the law. Today many christians have no assurance of salvation, scarad of hell. They are struggling with sin and try to do good works hoping God will spare them from hell. They live by the law and it doesn't work because they didn't surrender their life to Jesus Christ. Because God wants to have relationship with us once we surrender to Jesus Christ He will deliver us from the bondage of sin. And we can have assurance of salvation, even if we sin,He will forgive us because we gave our lives to Him. Why are we told several times on new testament to resist the devil. Spiritual warfare is real.If we willingly give ourselves over to sin and obedience to satan and it is our life practice ,we won't be with Christ in Heaven, let's not deceive ourselves. And no ,its not self righteousness; its not possible to achieve holiness without Jesus Christs divine intervention and help given that the devil constantly looking to lead as astray. But if we trust Christ,he will help us to conquer the devil. We are weak .He said without Him we can do nothing. It's not Jesus plus something else, it's trusting Jesus to help with overcoming sin and conquering satan

@@alexrizov3395 ".If we willingly give ourselves over to sin and obedience to satan and it is our life practice ,we won't be with Christ in Heaven, let's not deceive ourselves" You just backloaded works my friend, you don't get it. So here is an easier way to look at it. In this scenario you are required to stop thinking of yourself, don't think of yourself. How would someone with say advanced stages of dementia not "willingly give themselves over to sin" when they cannot move, speak, or barely put thoughts together, but they can hear, and they can understand. Knowing what 1 Samuel 16:7 states: But the Lord said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the Lord seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the Lord looketh on the heart. So we see that man looks on the outward appearance (what you're doing), and God looks at the heart. Luckily, it's God that saves, not man. So sin is on the heart. How exactly do you stop somebody from having sin on their heart for all intents and purposes, who is not all there? Or are you of the belief that those whom are medically compromised have no chance sat salvation, or keeping their salvation (which means if you believe someone can lose salvation, you deny eternal security and are thus a lukewarm Christian)? Knowing "willfully sinning" in the context of that passage it's mentioned means if she continued to sin, she would be killed. So all you need to do Alex, is find scripturally something that supports what you're saying on how the medically compromised population is dealt with. That means you copy/paste scripture, you don't just shoot from the hip and add nonsense where I go look up a verse you're trying to quote and you completely butcher it adding your own meaning. I went round and round with someone like you for 3 days on this who repeatedly would not copy/paste scripture and repeatedly posted their own meaning of verses. You nor I, nor he has the authority to change the meaning of verses. End result he conceded because he couldn't do it. Didn't understand what the verses meant, refused to read the entire chapters where he was making up his nonsense, eventually had to concede that he was wrong.

Jesus gives us a new disposition when we are born again,we no longer feel ok about sin when we fall, we hate to grieve the Holy Spirit we repent. Before Jesus comes into our heart we are not troubled, we are not aware of our sin until God is drawing us to Him, then we will be convicted of Sin and repent and be saved. Sinners need a Savior, self righteous people think they are good enough for Heaven on their own, that's why Jesus told the Pharisees (religious hypocrites) that the Prostitutes and tax collectors would enter the Kingdom of God before them.

Now when I do something or say something or even think something sinful am convicted by the Holy Spirit and have no peace in my heart until I pray and confess my sin in repentance and receive forgiveness. Also the Bible teaches that people who repeatedly harden their hearts towards God and persist in their sin can end up with a seared conscience, where they no longer have that awareness. I would hate to be in that place, although it is painful when we sin and are convicted by the Holy Spirit it leads to freedom and forgiveness and cleansing if we are honest before God about it and confess our sins with a contrite heart.

@@johanneshartman4618 Committeth, singular. So, if this is Jesus telling us we must never, ever sin again in order to be saved...are you saved? After all, he's set you free, right? If you insist you have never sinned since becoming a Christian then sure, whatever. I can't do anything for you if you're that deluded. Perhaps he isn't saying that though, don't you think that's a possibility? Romans 6:14 For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace. 1 Corinthians 15: 55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? 56 The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. Given this additional context it's very clear that our freedom from sin is it's power to condemn us through the law. Since we are no longer under law but under grace, sin no longer has power over us, we are free. Should we use that freedom as an occasion for the flesh? No, of course not, but you don't get to twist Jesus' words to say what he isn't saying to itch the ears of the self righteous. One last thing about committing sin. 1 John 3:9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. Remember how Jesus said we must be born again? Our new birth is of God, our new spirit will never, ever sin against God, even if our flesh still does and someday our flesh will be glorified and unified with our new spirit and we will dwell with God in his light forever. This is why we're encouraged multiple times throughout the NT to walk in the spirit, our new birth, and not in our flesh which we still have.

That is absolute backwards thinking. How else can you live a life free from sin except by the Spirit of God. If you say you still SIN after you allegedly received CHRIST, then you are the one that's deceived and don't know CHRIST. Zechariah 4:6-7 Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, NOT BY MIGHT, NOR BY POWER, BUT BY MY SPIRIT, SAITH THE LORD OF HOSTS. Who art thou, O great mountain? before Zerubbabel thou shalt become a plain: and HE SHALL BRING FORTH THE HEADSTONE THEREOF WITH SHOUTINGS, CRYING, GRACE, GRACE UNTO IT. Why don't you believe Paul when it comes to this subject. But the things that you misquote and misinterpret from Paul's writings, you always want to tout. Romans 8:10-11 AND IF CHRIST BE IN YOU, THE BODY IS DEAD BECAUSE OF SIN; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead DWELL IN YOU, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also QUICKEN YOUR MORTAL BODIES BY HIS SPIRIT THAT DWELLETH IN YOU. 2 Corinthians 4:10-12 Always bearing about in the BODY the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be MADE MANIFEST IN OUR BODY. For we which live are alway delivered unto death for Jesus' sake, that the life also of Jesus might be MADE MANIFEST IN OUR MORTAL FLESH. So then death worketh in us, but life in you. Romans 6:11-12 Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord. LET NOT SIN THEREFORE REIGN IN YOUR MORTAL BODY, THAT YE SHOULD OBEY IT IN THE LUSTS THEREOF. Romans 12:1-2 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, THAT YE PRESENT YOUR BODIES A LIVING SACRIFICE, HOLY, ACCEPTABLE UNTO GOD, WHICH IS YOUR REASONABLE SERVICE. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, THAT YE MAY PROVE WHAT IS THAT GOOD, AND ACCEPTABLE, AND PERFECT, WILL OF GOD. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 What? know ye not that YOUR BODY IS THE TEMPLE OF THE HOLY GHOST WHICH IS IN YOU, WHICH YE HAVE OF GOD, AND YE ARE NOT YOUR OWN? For ye are bought with a price: therefore GLORIFY GOD IN YOUR BODY, AND IN YOUR SPIRIT, WHICH ARE GOD'S. So who should we believe? You or the WORD OF GOD. We believe the WORD OF GOD and not your misguided rhetoric.

It also says that you have to be perfect to be saved, or else hell, and there is no purpose for the cross in Pelagianism. Check out Redeemed Zoomers all heresy's videos, part 1 and part 2.

Do you know what the Ministry of reconciliation means? It takes two for the process of reconciliation. God made the first step: He reconciled himself to the world. He would never reconcile himself to sin. So what did He do? Christ paid the price for the sins of the whole world. That was the necessary atonement, directly followed by God forgiving the world all trespasses. Today, sin is not imputed to anyone, ALL sin was put on Christ, buried with him. When Christ rose again, all sin stayed in his grave and is not ever to be re-imputed to anyone in this dispensation of Grace. That's our good news of today the Gospel of our salvation: the work was finished on the cross, once and for all. Now sin is put out of the way between God and man. Hallelujah 🙏🙏🙏 Now it's your turn: be ye reconciled to God. Believe that all your sins were forgiven by God when Christ paid the price for every single sin. This is salvation today: believe, your sins were completely forgiven on the cross when you were His enemy,as the sins of the whole world were paid and forgiven there. Believing that, trusting in Christ alone is what saves you today. In this very moment, Christ's righteousness is imputed in your account, by His spirit you are baptized into Christ, sealed with the Holy Spirit until the day of redemption, eternal life and all spiritual blessings are yours, you are a new creature, a member of the church, the Body of Christ, your Destination is heavenly places. Paul, our only apostle, did not say one single word in all his 13 epistles how to get your sins forgiven. Because salvation is to believe they already are. This is our ministry, Ambassadors for Christ, ministers of reconciliation. Share the good news that God has forgiven all the worlds sin and is not imputing them, today is the day of salvation! Grace and peace 🙏 ❤️ Check out also "truthtime Radio", it is very edifying ❤️

Seeing as, atleast in America our rights are established as God-given. Such as the right to self defense for example. Even though there are laws that inhibit that right. But even as in China with the one child policy, you were expected to murder any other subsequent unborn child, as Christians should that be obeyed? Food for thought

Jesus didn’t come to simply usher in forgiveness, he came to restore that image in which we were created. The Son of man came to save THAT (not those) which that was lost. Wow can anyone get more self deluded? To think that after being born of the Spirit you will never sin again in this life is blindness to one's own sin and depravity. Being born of the Spirit means Christ in us God dwelling in us. Think about it..... if we are "being sanctified by the Spirit" this means that we are being purged of our sins. God is cleansing us from sin and sinful desires as long as we are in this flesh. We are not instantly made perfect. This will not happen until our Lord returns and we are "made to be like Him"

What?! Just because a believer in Christ sins, WE HAVE to do something like repent, and repeat??!! Man...then if we do that Jesus THEN takes out our old heart and puts in a new one? Wow!! Nope......once, the very moment a person hears the gospel ( 1 Cor. 15:1-4) and believes, puts their faith in Jesus 💯. They are saved, and secure, sealed ( Ephesians 1:13,14) for all eternity!!! Jesus takes your old heart out and puts in a new one that very moment, you are then born again. Great expose and video brother Norm!

somewhat , it is impossible to place your faith in Jesus Christ as the Savior without first changing your mind about your sin and about who Jesus is and what He has done. Whether it is repentance from willful rejection or repentance from ignorance or disinterest, it is a change of mind. Biblical repentance, in relation to salvation, is changing your mind from rejection of Christ to faith in Christ. Repentance is not a work we do to earn salvation. No one can repent and come to God unless God pulls that person to Himself (John 6:44). Repentance is something God gives-it is only possible because of His grace (Acts 5:31; 11:18). No one can repent unless God grants repentance. All of salvation, including repentance and faith, is a result of God drawing us, opening our eyes, and changing our hearts. God’s longsuffering leads us to repentance (2 Peter 3:9), as does His kindness (Romans 2:4).

Well im one that believes in "sinless perfection" , but not in the sense that it its likely that person accends to a state where they re 100% Christlike without any sin ever But verses comes to mind like : "perfect holyness in the fear of God" "Work on your salvation with fear and trembling" "Study to show yourself approved of God" To me it means , be zealous liike Pinehas , be Godfearing and take your calling to live a holy life very seriously, know what the various sins the bible talks about are , so that you dont live in unconcious sins , know that its Gods grace/ power of THS that ultimately gives us victory over sin So yeah , i believe in sinless perfection , i know of Christians that has walked with christ for 70+ years that has a great testimony, i dont believe that its so sensational that a christian at one points grips what the bible talks about when it comes to renewing of the mind and victory over sin, even if they fall in a sin rarely and only has 99% "sinless perfection" , they ve basically put these things into life then It should be more sensational if they dont...

One time I turned away from all intentional sin for the longest sustained period of time in my life, a number of months, I done this with Gods help of course, by His power not my own and I was heavily convicted over any sin I even thought about committing at that time. Like I say, this repentance went on for months then one evening the conviction over sin was replaced with what I can only describe as having felt like the presence of peace and joy of the Lord, wash over me. I felt more alive that evening than I had in a long time if not ever and than I have since, because that same evening, I became complacent and entered back into temptation unfortunately, as soon as I did, that peace I felt left. I saw a vision of my own body falling backward into darkness and death. I have not felt alive spiritually since that evening, because since then, I have not achieved that level of obedience to God.

Thank you for making this video brother! It's incredible that my daily devotional study, was that of Romans 7 today! The word of God states that we are being TRAINED in righteousness, and that suffering and or challenges produce both character and perseverance 😤✊ There is no way to stop sinning. Each man has his own battle, and even our thoughts are sinful. A man that says he does not sin, makes God out to be a liar. God bless you, and thanks again for creating this content👊

Proverbs 24:18 For a righteous man may fall seven times And rise again, But the wicked shall fall by calamity. Do not rejoice when your enemy falls, And do not let your heart be glad when he stumbles; Lest the LORD see it, and it displease Him, And He turn away His wrath from him. The difference between the righteous and the wicked isn’t moral perfection but striving for what’s right after falling. This is a timely upload so many are deceived by sinless perfection.

There’s a difference between sin and willfully sinning. (Planning it) instead of falling into it when you don’t really want to do it. Like Paul wrote ‘I do what I don’t wanna do’, expressing he fell. But he never planned it on purpose. Shall we go on sinning so that grace may increase? By no means! We are those who have died to sin; how can we live in it any longer? Or don't you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? Romans 6:1-4

@cats4603 Here Paul is talking not about himsels.

Then do it, choose this day who you will serve. We are more than conquerors in Christ Jesus but He will not force your Will, you have to surrender to Him of your own Free Will. Have some honest communication, make sincere prayers to Him, He knows all about you anyway and He can give you the way out of temptations. The Bible instructs you how to live as a young man ask God to enable you to live that way and surrender the mess you have made of it to Him, He will get it cleaned up if you are willing to let him have control of you.
