Golf is driving me insane as I cannot iron out my shots because my hands are wedged between my hip an feet. Honestly - this late wrest set is exactly what I needed. I was always trying to set the left wrist early in the take away - and it was a weak move and caused me to bring the club back too low and inside. This drill from Rob felt right the first time I tried it - the sequence!!! Thanks.

I recently criticized one of WorldClassGolf's videos pretty strongly. But fair is fair. This video was outstanding in providing info that is easy to understand, extremely critical in terms of the golf swing and can be a game changer for amature golfers. Well done guys.

This is the video I needed to fix a major flaw in my swing. Thank you! Now, what I’m about to say is very specific to me but it may help someone else. I noticed tension in the rear right deltoid that was preventing me from bringing my elbow down in a smooth quick manner. Once I released the tension in my rear right deltoid, my right elbow came down as smooth as a hot knife through butter and I was able to release the club properly. With the tension, my right elbow would stall out before reaching my ribs and I had no choice but to flip the club at the ball.

I think you need to add to this great video the actual move from the top of your backswing along with a transitional move is that your right hand, right wrist, right forearm and right shoulder external rotation are all moving in a CLOCKWISE, not counter-clockwise direction. That is the missing piece that amateurs just don't get and have a hard time with because it will be unnatural and awkward to them i.e. golf. Once they get that hand path dropping behind them and moving clockwise, it will actually make the elbow automatic, shaft lean automatic, shallowing automatic. Then it's just a matter of Sasho MacKenzie's allowing the center of mass of the club move below the hand path and then squaring the face. Moe Norman has a video where he shows the club in front of him, hands on the club, with the right arm well below the left arm, and surprisingly, the left hand above the right hand. You'd say how can anyone hit a golf ball with that move; hit with the back of the club head? But carry that move and feel up to the top and then back to that Moe Norman in front of you then back again, and pretty soon you feel the arc of the hand path and the correct clockwise motion starting the downswing. Without that feel to get things started properly, amateurs miss the point of some really good videos. Once I found this secret to a pros swing from mine, it made a huge difference in every shot I take now. Huge. Just trying to help and have people move forward and not waste 40 years of their golfing career, as I did, working on the wrong things.

That’s for posting 👍 flexing the lead wrist i helps the club shallow that’s why we mentioned that.

It’s a good point what you say. But amateurs open the face coming down i’ve filmed 40,000 in slow motion. Use sensors on the wrist. With the lead wrist flexing it helps them shallow and square the face. We have several series on WorldClassGolf.com on shallowing and transition i cover all areas. It’s hard to put everything into 1 youtube video. I like your post though 👍👍

In transition my right elbow moves slightly away from my body. Opposite of what I want. No matter the drills I can’t seem to get it to move the way I want. I know it’s the main power leak in my swing. Maybe time to sign up on the gold package and figure out how to solve this flaw
