In regards to a sequel the closest we'll get is the Arabia and Halloween themed episodes. Some of the costumes there are something else. When it comes to this episode I can only imagine what the recording sessions for this were like. I think this is back when the woman who voices Yoruichi and Tatsuki was still the head voice director and she'd have to explain this plot to all the other dub actors in their individual sessions.

The anime fillers however write Soi Fon as being gay and horny for Yoruichi. It’s unclear how much creative control Kubo has over the anime but it may mean that Kubo intended for Soi-Fon to be gay. Personally, I feel it would be weird for Kubo not to correct the anime staff on something as important to Soi-Fon’s character.
