Golf courtesy... if you're done putting grab the flag and when partners done you replace flag in hole. Last person putting shouldn't have to get flag.

Jerome, don’t ever lose your great positive attitude. You are a great young man. The game will come with time. This reminds me of when I learned how to play golf as a young man. My grandpa taught me everything just like this. I golfed hundreds of rounds with him walking and carrying our bags. I learned so much about life and how to be a good respectable honorable man. How to not take golf too seriously. How to be a good sportsman. I know your learning golf right now but your also learning so many other things about life out there. Seeing a young person so excited about golf is wonderful. Stay positive and stay GOLD

I'm so glad he told you that you were lining up to the right on that 2nd or 3rd hole. It's so hard to tell if it's just our video perspective or not, but you have looked like you are lining up that way consistently - which in the end means your shots aren't as bad as you think - it's your alignment. Keep up the work!

I tried the backswing your coach recommends. It worked for me today. My drives were 15-20 yards further, fairway woods and irons were struck well and accurate. Thank you for doing your channel. I have been watching since the beginning. 😊

Chris was great knocking down 5 and 6 foot putts it's no joke doing it hole after hole with the camera running. Really pushing for bird and knee knockers for par. Great going Chris. Jerome that was better your heading in the right direction . I understand your high energy wants everything quick not realizing you were rushing until the ball was already played. Try calming your mind and letting the shot form or happen in your mind, breath. The mind set like sitting in a swing or a dog with his head out of the car window doing something we all love to do. Your positive attitude is a life achievement within itself. With the talented instruction your game is sure to continue to improve. Here is a question: is it harder to shoot a 70 or to shoot 90?

Very good short game and also putting got much better. I would guess having your coach with you made you concentrate and not rush. Letting other golfers go by probably put less pressure on you too. One thing I've noticed in your other on course videos is you didn't apply your lessons you got from Chris. With Chris being there enforcing you use the drills he showed you makes all the difference. Just try to play like you were taught to practice at the range. I know it easy to forget about it all and just swing. But you're paying for this, you may as well get your moneys worth before you go broke. 😉

Great first shot. Some many nuances to be learned. Your first shot was not an opened face, but you aligned that way. You'll need to learn the distance of each club on a 1/4, 1/2 and full swing and alignment from the Tee box based on the shot shape. But straight shots should be the goal. I used the club to align me body by holding the club handle towards the target and align your feet and shoulders since you don't have an alignment stick in the tee box. This will lower score as well.
@jeffreylawrence9172 Жыл бұрын
I know its a learning video but I'm Surprised the Coach would have you try something new on the course BUT he's your coach and he's got the right mind set and attitude. Did you all warm up prior? My son and I still use the tee to determine who goes first. Its done among friends not if paired with strangers.

Your coach is awesome. I still believe your best investment would be a golf app to help you with club selection. I hear you talking down about your rang finder that should not be in your mind. A gps app will give that little bit of help to clear your mind to focus on the swing, this will help you more than you know.
