You like the asymmetrical build design, maybe experiment with asymmetrical painting too (color stripe wider, or moved over 1 block vs the other side, etc). You set the jacking pistons in that groove. Maybe consider placing a hinge at the top and letting them fold up into that groove? Girder lights on top of the "big toe" area of the Strider's "feet" might be a neat look.

That’s not a bad idea with painting. And yea, I was thinking some extra lights maybe point down as well.

The only thing I would suggest to change is to put the antenna mirrored to the ore detector, maybe balancing out the silhouette a little. Otherwise, I really like how the Pond-Strider is turning out.

May try and add this. Will likely do some base work, and various things. Also have the idea for a flyer, but that is going to have to be once we get some facilities up and running.
