Cam Newton is the greatest college QB to ever play the game. He really took a team that at best would have won 7 games, and had them go undefeated, won a national championship, and collected a Heisman along the way. No QB has ever done something like that at the college level that I can think of.

I will argue anyone, that this season from Cam was the greatest single season of college football an individual player has ever played! Think about it. That Auburn team only had two players of note, as far as NFL players. That Alabama team had tons of guys that had, and are still having decent-great NFL careers. Including one of the best receivers of the last 20 years. Cam carried that team when they needed him and of course they had a lot of seniors that played some good football to compliment him, but number 2 was the engine of that team.

It is staggering to rewatch this and just see the points Alabama left on the field in the first half. *At least* 10, but possibly 21.

It’s crazy because it could have easily and probably should have been 35-0 in the second quarter. Ingram fumbled out the back of the end zone and Richardson dropped a walk in TD. Changed the whole game.

We had many reasons why we drafted Cam Newton as the first overall pick in 2011. But this game was the biggest reason. If you beat Bama in a 1v1 matchup in the SEC or buried them in the National Championship Game, ur considered NFL talent

Yo NFL Throwback, I know you folks like to post throwback games relevant to current happenings. Browns and Ravens are playing tomorrow. Big game for both teams. Was wondering if y'all could upload that crazy game from 2007 when the Browns won 33-30 in OT. Was one of the wildest endings to a game I ever seen. And surely one that impacted rules in NFL going forward. Would love to relive the experience of that game. Thanks.

Out of all the undefeated, heisman winning season QBs in the past two decades, Cam Newton was by far one of the most enjoyable to watch on the field. This opinion is coming from a hardcore LSU fan too. No matter how much I dislike Auburn, Cam Newton will always have my respect.

I remember that amazing season, as Auburn is my favorite college football team [LSU is Baseball & Rugby]. I love the memories made & crying joyful tears, especially after winning the BCS championship. But I [like many Auburn fans] believe Auburn's 2004 team, who was shut out of the championship game, was better all around & possibly altogether the 00s best SEC team.
