I had read pretty much only Manga until this run literally got me into American comic books. There's a panel where Misty gets Danny Fig Newton's and orange juice and I know that sounds simple and dumb but it was so fucking grounding to me and stuck with me so strongly. I'll always love Danny Rand because he got me into Comics

I worked in a bookstore when this run hit the shelves. I was immediately an Iron Fist convert. I knew the character existed before then, but this story was the tipping point. I don't buy a lot of collected runs but I own this one.

Was introduced to iron fist in the 90s by my father. He was a big fan of iron fist, Luke cage and Shang chi. This run was the run that made the iron fist story more epic. Think fraction did what Geoff John’s did with green lantern. Kinda added a hole new lore to the character and added so much for comic geeks to delve in to.
