I've always enjoyed watching your videos, seeing the different ways you and your dad worked around the farm, and the enthusiasm, passion and knowledge he had always came across. Always looking to build your knowledge and confidence. I can only imagine the pride he had when he first saw your finished cookbook printed, and the Sheep Dip ready to open. I'm sure he'll always be looking out for you, beaming with pride, wishing, just as much as you, that he could be there, with you, just to help with that sheep (or two). Oh my Joanna...words can't convey my heartfelt wishes for you and yours in this moment of grief! Let me say this though...there'll come a time when you'll smile before the tears come when thinking of your Dad. I can't say how long the time passage for when that'll happen - just know it'll happen! Your Dad reminded me of my Grand Dad John - both full of 'old school' farming wisdom. I've benefited from those years as a young lad spent with Grand Dad John. And, you're right to say you've been blessed with that same experience - it will serve you well into the future. You will build on that inherited wisdom in your own fashion. As Sir Paul McCartney has said...your Dad is and will be around to help your journey. Many blessings...

Aww Jo I only subscribed this evening. So sad for your loss. Your Dad reminded me of my Dad. Practical and down to earth. Condolences once again.

Such awful news. Please take some comfort in the fact he is smiling in every one of your videos. He seemed like a gentleman that was so happy and content in his own piece of the world. Stay strong and continue on making him smile down on you.
