I always thought the opening scene with Elspeth and Fiona was so unique to open up the series; but the opening line from Carol Burns "she bumped into me" was the cherry on top of the cake for that opening scene. That being said I wish Carol Burns would have continued the Franky Doyle character. It would have been interesting to see how she would have interacted with future characters like Margo. In fact, when Margo first came on the scene ,I immediately saw her as the replacement for Franky Doyle-- until it became clear that she was not a lesbian.
