The Edith story was absolutely heartbreaking. Jim was so compassionate towards helping Edith settle in. It was and I have read many comments, one of the most outstanding performances from the cast. It showed how old people are vulnerable and often incredibly lonely. A cry every time I.watch it. Mr Fletcher character featured in this storyline was lovely and heartwarming when talking to Edith. She reminded him of his Grandma. He was brought up by them but never got chance to thank his gran. Very moving. The banter was adorable between them.
