He actually wrote "kim" the same year he wrote "97 Bonnie and Clyde", in '97. In the beginning, the title of "97 Bonnie and Clyde", was "just the two of us" and you can find it in the Slim Shady EP. "Kim" was wrote in the '97 and put in the "MMLP". If you listen close, you can notice that the voice of Em is much different from the rest of the album and much more similar to his voice in the '97 "The Slim Shady EP".

I think alot of people were back in the day tired of all the anti-bush songs(which i kind of understand since many punk band & rappers milked it dry) so one can see why Mosh fade into obscurity. As an Eminem fan, both these videos are definitely a blessing. Personally, I love the Eminem from Recovery moving forward rather than the old one. I think he's a lot better lyrically and technically as a rapper, his music genre blends more and he's more mature, so a lot of my favorite songs from Em would be this latter stage of his career, still enjoyed the video though, great work!

I get what you mean. But personally, when I became an Eminem fan, I also liked the newer albums more (around 2017-18). I didnt really like the '99-2002 era of eminem. But after some years, I found myself absolutely enjoying the '99-2002 eminem more. If you like the new eminem, I think you'll love artists like Joyner Lucas, Logic, etc. I prefer the old Eminem and I dont think that the old eminem can ever be topper. I have listened to 2pac, Biggie, Rakim, Nas, but Eminem from MMLP just hits different.

When MMLP came out in the spring of 2000, “The Real Slim Shady” was the first single and it was constantly playing on the radio. When hearing “Stan” for the first time with my friends I knew this was going to be the next single and the song of the summer. Obviously I was right but I was worried because it was a long song, the radio would edit out some verses. I’m glad they didn’t and “Stan” dominated the charts in the summer and even most of the fall in 2000.

Same Song & Dance to me is the best of Relapse because it’s what the rest of Relapse was trying to go for and only this song was able to do it best. Even better than Deja Vu, Careful What You Wish For, My Darling, and everything else. This is Relapse’s strongest aspects in 1 song. Slick flows from Em, catchy hook, really nice beat, fantastic concept, masterful execution of that concept, and how close it is to the vision of what Relapse is.
